LIVE FROM THE DOOKIE JAM!

Leave it to Medusa and Company to round up a group of DJs, MCs, Musicians, Artists and all around Good Funky Party People and have a throwdown like The Dookie Jam was on Sunday at Delicious Pizza in West Adams

On a blazing hot summer day in the final days of winter, when the world attempted to “save the daylight” -

And in celebration the Great Miracle of Medusa’s Birth -

The People brought it.

MAJOR.

ACTION.

FUNK.

“Love to the People in Iran
Love to everyone everywhere taking a stand
Love to the People of Palestine
Love to yours
Love to mine
That’s Everyone
We One People
I say “Love For The”
You say “PEOPLE”!

LOVE FOR THE PEOPLE!

That’s what came through the other day
You can hear it here in the first clip…

So many dope styers and moments…

Shout out to Everyone who blessed the mic, scratched and spun a record, played a funky note and everyone in the house who came through -
@legendmedusa @thedookiejam , my OG Big Brother @myka9 @ventage1245 @tozmusic @mzetta99 @818_sal @funkonaut ©knowaking @@deliciouspizzahg @deliciousvinyl @6ditrue129official @djwordd @lotussmoke_di @uni92649 @osmithus @johnquethewordsmith @kl33o100…

Thank You Gangsta Goddess.

Happy Born Day!

We Love You.

Thank You Dookie Jam.

Thank You Party People.

I hear the next one is on April 19th…

Up next on Sunset Sounds for Sunday, January 25th, 6pm to 8pm, we’ll be celebrating 10 years of Rhythm Real and 10 years of birthday concerts for yours truly 🎂❤️

Thanks to everyone who has ever shared a stage, played with the band, attended any shows, booked us at a venue, listened to the album, fed our community, and/or supported us in any way 🙏❤️

I’m lucky to be alive for another one, so come help us celebrate with @deanmucettiandrhythmreal (@thebigmig + @rfisher89 + @b_theory + @iworldp / @samson.olawale.92 ) for two sets of live music 🎶

@leaf_over_beef and @cookiesamorela are popping up with their stellar plant-based bbq and vegan cookies 🌱🍗🍪

@barbandini will be pouring from their special natural wine and craft beer selection 🍺🍷

Sunset Sounds is a monthly casual outdoor creative music series paired with natural wines, craft beers, and plant-based/vegan eats. One set of music each hour from 6pm to 8pm, the last Sunday of every month at Bar Bandini, hosted by Dean Mucetti. No cover charge, come for any part or for all of it 🌞

As my Brother @philosophystyle told me, "build it and they will come". Well we built it… and I thank you so much for all coming and showing up. So great to reunite with some old friends, and make new ones.

Thank you so much for your support, it was such a beautiful night🫶🏾

Still beaming over Sistas’ with Paralysis first event: Enduring Pain to Triumph with Purpose. A beautiful intimate evening filled with inspiration motivation and creativity. I’d like to express pure gratitude to everyone that came out and supported not only me on my Fifth Life Day, but my vision for SWP as a whole.

To my Soul Sister @nicole__rush , thank you so much listening and understanding my vision and connecting me with @philosophystyle.
Phenomenal @philosophystyle , you are a King my Brother .I am so grateful and thankful for you getting me to the promised land😊… we did it!!

Acts 20:35 expresses Jesus sentiments perfectly, “there is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving”. Thank you so much for giving both your time and donations. The vulnerability of disabled people in a life-threatening emergency situation is so immense and so is the aftermath. I am so happy that we were able to give back to both Grayson and Willie, that were impacted in the fires

I see this as just the beginning!! I envision SWP being a beacon of light hope and encouragement for not only all my disabled sistas but everyone in the disabled community and beyond!! This is proof you can endure pain and triumph with purpose!!
