Our Associate Director Alanna Irwin will be moderating a talk with our Gallery Assistant Marco Rinaldi in Chinatown’s disused monorail station tomorrow evening at 7PM. Marco is the creative director of @___osmosis, a collaborative project exploring the relationship between colour, sound, space, and emotion. ⁣
⁣
For many Sydney siders, the monorail is a rich nostalgic memory of the city’s past. osmosis will reactivate the site with an immersive sound and light installation that explores nostalgia as a form of healing. This concept arose from noting we find comfort in listening to songs and sounds from our past during the uncertainty of the last year or so.⁣

I have contributed a composition for part of the Osmosis Centennial Park Sound Walk. To check it out, head to Centennial Park, bring headphones and follow the link within the @___osmosis bio.

The event is now is running until the 19th of July and there is an incredible list of artists that have also contributed works.

All donations will go towards @deadlyconnections and the @alsnswact.
