"I actually think that's where some of the greatest moments exist, like cracks in the pavement. You know that it will never happen again like that. We could do that set again right now for you; it would be completely different"

Thank you to @ost_mag for interviewing me after the recent concert at @arctangentfestival with @crossbones_trombones @thing_tom_atherton.

You can find it on pages 22-23 on the print and digital versions of this month's edition.

Look forward to creating more unique moments from tomorrow with some of you around the UK ❤️‍🔥

@absolute_power__uk_metal unleash the first single from their upcoming album!💥
.
“Needs Must When the Devil Drives”, the album’s title track🔥
.
▶️ Watch now: https://youtu.be/Nh-0ArGHMgc (LINK IN BIO)
💿 Preorder: https://timetokillrecords.com/collections/absolute-power
.
The new album “Needs Must When the Devil Drives” will be released on November 6th via Time To Kill Records.
.
For Shane Embury, the track is also deeply personal, looking back at the environment in which he and Simon Efemey grew up and the role heavy metal played during their formative years:
.
“This song, whilst being title track of our new record, also talks about how both Simon and I grew up in the West Midlands listening to heavy metal of 1980’s – all the classics as you would expect.
.
The areas where we both came from were very much industrial areas! Working class families and for us, as teenagers, heavy metal was our escape from the everyday realities of our areas – you did what you had to just to get by.
.
Needs Must When the Devil Drives!”
.
New album Out Nov 6 via Time To Kill Records.

Presenting DARK///ER:
Dark/// Remixed & Reimagined.

We are releasing a record of remixes and reimagined versions of songs from our last album Dark///, lovingly created by a host of amazing friends, peers and heroes from across the musical world (and beyond).

This first announcement brings news that amongst the collaborators are Robin Southby (Maybeshewill), Rostres, author Mark Reed, 601, Pyrokynesys, In A House of Heartbeats, and Matt Benatan (Din of Celestial Birds).

You can preorder the record now on Bandcamp, either in Digital or Limited Edition CD - and receive 3 tracks now.

But we're not done yet!
We've got another half dozen or so contributors to reveal as we get closer to release, and the record wouldn't be complete without us reimagining a song ourselves.

Everyone has brought such expertise and enthusiasm to the project - thank you all!

Whisper it.... because I've still got to proof and do boring shit but...OST 5 is a wrap!!! Without a doubt the absolute hardest thing to get over the line that I've made.

Painful deep injection procedures into my nervous system that could easily paralyse me or completely stop me using my hands, a festival held on the sun, the first ever festival for the full @601_band , releasing a load of Null Assembly music, a huge change up in my day to day living (which I'm not talking about until it's done) and many many all nighters slamming my (now dead and replaced) mouse and it's done!!!

Do you know how good it feels to say that!!?...

Did I mention the biggest surprise yet? No? Good! You'll find out from 19th August at @arctangentfestival @roughtraderecords and other selected independent stores plus, of course through the mailing list.

It's huge, and in just under two weeks I start it all again...

Planet Earth is a hell of a trip.
