The Ag Econ GSA Cowboys had a great week! We started off the week with some intramural flag football and played some pool at our September social event! And while we may not have won our flag football game, we finished off the week watching our Cowboys beat the Oregon Ducks! 🤠🏈!

Congratulations to all of our graduate students who presented their research last week at the Western Agricultural Economics Association Annual Meeting in Flagstaff, Arizona! We are incredibly proud of how well you represented Oklahoma State University and the Department of Agricultural Economics. 🧡🖤

The trip wasn’t all work, though! Some of our students also made the most of their travels with a road trip along historic Route 66, creating memories along the way. Congratulations again on a successful conference!

We are fondly remembering Gene Rainbolt, a visionary leader, philanthropist and 2018 OSU Agriculture Champion.

Gene’s dedication to advancing education, rural prosperity and Oklahoma’s agricultural industries has left a notable mark on OSU and our communities. From establishing the H.E. “Gene” Rainbolt Endowed Chair of Agricultural Finance to supporting countless students and programs in @okstateferguson, his legacy will continue to inspire and uplift future generations.

Our thoughts are with his family and all who were inspired by his remarkable life and generosity.
