Today the @eterea.quartet performed at the McCauley chamber competition and I’m very happy to say we took first place! This was a super awesome experience and I’m so glad we had this opportunity! Also huge congrats to @otr_quartet for winning the college division! We will get to your level one day🤞

On top of the competition I also had a gig today that was super fun and went very well!

The CCM Saxophone Studio had an amazing time at this year's NASA biennial conference in Columbus!!! Tons of great performances including world premier consortiums, competition performances in both solo and quartet settings, performances by the CCM Saxophone Ensemble, a performance by Dr. James Bunte with the New Third Stream Quartet, as well as open-panel discussions led by Dr. Carly Hood with NASA's Committee for Gender Equity board!! We hope to be able to bring even more to the next regional and biennial conferences in the future!

When I die, they will put me in a box and dispose of it in the cold ground. And in all the million ages to come, I will never breathe, or laugh, or twitch again. So won't you run and play with me here among the teeming mass of humanity? The universe has spared us this moment.

What a good time this fall has been. This made me realize I played way too much bass clarinet for money this year

SHOW UPDATE!

Fall is a time for festive colors, and Classical Revolution Cincinnati joins in with diverse tone colors! Join us at The Loon on November 9 as we listen to the timbres of accordion (John Keene), piano (Ariadne Antipa), voice/ukulele/violin (Sarah Gorak), and a family of saxophones (OTR Saxophone Quartet) as the leaves keep changing and falling.
