An unforgettable evening at @genesis.westisland for the unveiling of the Genesis GV60 Magma. 🔥

It was a privilege to provide the soundtrack for an evening where every detail reflected craftsmanship, creativity, and luxury.

From the exceptional culinary experience by Hanhak Kim from @ottomtl and @hanasteakhouse , to the custom keychains by @neilsonletters , the beautifully crafted cocktails and bar experience by @nikitamandanicismith , @nickbodoin ‘s captivating live painting, and the custom Magma pocket squares by @pietromuccibespoke featured in the gift bags alongside products from @thekshop.ca — every element elevated the guest experience.

A special congratulations to Cait from @hospitalitymtl for curating such an outstanding event, and to @leportrait.ca for capturing the evening so beautifully through her stunning photography.

Thank you to everyone involved for making it such a memorable night. Always an honour to be part of experiences like this.

A heartfelt thank you to Hanhak Kim and the teams at Otto and Hanna Steakhouse, L’Aube for the stunning Korean inspired florals, Fiesta Rentals for helping bring the event together, Irina and The K Shop for the beautiful gift bags, Erin Nielsen of Neilson Letters and Joy for the live calligraphy experience, DJ Saron for setting the perfect atmosphere, Nick Bodoin for his live painting and artistic interpretation of the Genesis GV60 Magma, Taline Nalbandian of Le Portrait for beautifully capturing the evening, Chahi “Sharkie” Tarakjian of PromoLink for generously providing the custom purse holders for our gift bags, Agrovino for the exceptional champagne, and Lance and Peter of Pietro Mucci Bespoke for the custom embroidered Magma pocket squares.

A very special thank you to Jimmy Azzouz and the Gabriel Group for placing your trust in me and in HospitalityMTL. Jimmy, your vision, kindness and relentless dedication are truly inspiring. The care you put into every detail and every guest experience is what makes working with you such a privilege. Thank you for believing in our team and for giving us the opportunity to bring your vision to life. We will never take that trust for granted.

Thank you as well to Alex Thomas and Kevin Schulman for your collaboration and support throughout the planning process.

It was also a pleasure to welcome Nadia Saputo and Patrice Brisebois to celebrate this exciting launch.

To everyone who accepted my personal invitation, thank you for your support and for celebrating this special evening with us.

And finally, to my incredible HospitalityMTL team, thank you. Watching something I’ve built with so much heart come to life through such an exceptional team is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. I couldn’t be prouder.

Here’s to many more unforgettable experiences.

@hanasteakhouse - the newest restaurant from Hanhak Kim @ottomtl and @davidmcmillanmtl

Let’s jump right in, the table fills up before you even know what’s happening. Premium cuts of meat, banchan, sauces, exquisite toppings, tongs, scissors, steam, smoke, more plates, more meat, more “okay last bite” lies. Because everything tastes so damn good.

The grill does half the work visually. Fat rendering, edges crisping, smoke and steam catching the light. Then all the side dishes come in and make the whole table feel alive. Truly a special Korean steakhouse. The other half is real star of the show, a meat program built around prime-grade beef, with select cuts dry-aged in-house and finished tableside over the grill. Elevated sides and surprises including shrimp toast and exceptional beef tartar finished with caviar created by chef @wongoo_joun

The room, a warm, elegant, dimly lit, inviting space created by the one and only @zebulonperron

Last night — dinner at @hanasteakhouse with my parents, a stop to see my sister for dessert at @giagiagiamtl , and an espresso at @cafemilanoinc to close it out.

A quiet reminder of how much can change in a year.

Grateful for moments like these.
