I’m proud to announce Vlair’s sponsorship and endorsement of Skye Gibson Moo-Young For Miss Jamaica World.

Skye definitely embodies the characteristics of the Vlair woman. Bold, not afraid to express her uniqueness and dares to put herself out there unapologetically, being exactly who she is.

Thank you to @our.today for publishing the article.

I was pleased to participate in this year’s Small Business Expo at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City!

As a young entrepreneur in public relations and media, I recognize the importance of creating opportunities to connect, build relationships, explore strategic partnerships, and learn from fellow entrepreneurs who are making their mark across various industries.

So grateful to my friend, singer, songwriter, and businesswoman Keisha Martin for introducing me to this valuable networking opportunity. Sometimes, all it takes is a connection to open the door to new possibilities!

As I continue to grow Lyndon Taylor & Associates, I remain committed to building meaningful relationships, expanding my professional network, and positioning the business for continued growth and success.

The entrepreneurial journey is one of continuous learning, strategic networking, and seizing opportunities. Every connection counts, and every experience offers a chance to grow!

What a beautiful day it is to be alive!

Despite the global economic challenges and the uncertainty that seems to be all around us, there is still so much to be thankful for. As an entrepreneur, you certainly feel the pressure even more, especially with the U.S. midterm elections less than a month away and the potential impact on the business environment.

Yet, in the midst of it all, we must never lose sight of the most precious gift we have been given...THE GIFT OF LIFE.

Some days will be easier than others, business will have its ups and downs, and the road ahead may not always be clear. But as we often say, once there is life, there is hope!

So, I encourage you to take a deep breath, count your blessings, keep pushing forward, and trust that better days are ahead. Continue to work hard, remain focused, and never allow the challenges of today to steal your gratitude for the blessings of this moment.

Be thankful.
Stay hopeful.
Keep believing.
Your story is still being written!

Sometimes, you have to take a drive beyond the familiar, explore somewhere new, and embrace a different pace of life!

My recent trip outside New York City took me to beautiful New Have, Connecticut, where I had the opportunity to slow things down, enjoy a change of scenery, and appreciate the simple pleasures of life beyond the city’s hustle and bustle.

The added blessing? Having the opportunity to serve as the emcee/host for a special Golden Birthday milestone celebration. It was a pleasure being part of such a memorable occasion and helping to make the moment even more special.

Life is about creating balance, embracing new experiences, celebrating others, and making time to recharge along the way. Sometimes, the best journeys are not just about the destination, but the experiences and connections we make along the way.

Grateful for the opportunity to explore, connect, serve, and enjoy a different rhythm of life.

Big shout out and congratulations to Jamaican-born designer and creative Courtney Washington on his new location at Restoration Plaza, right in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvesant (Bed-Stuy), Brooklyn, upstairs from the Post Office!

I stopped by today and had the pleasure of checking out a wonderful fashion show presented in collaboration with Age Friendly Central Brooklyn. What a fantastic experience! The models were having a blast, bringing style, confidence and plenty of personality to the runway.

It was great to see fashion bringing people together and celebrating creativity, community and ageless style!

Be sure to stop by and support Courtney Washington at his new Brooklyn location. The Fashion House is open 11 am - 7 pm, Tuesdays to Saturdays.

El Niño can shift rainfall patterns across the Caribbean, bringing increased heat and drier-than-normal conditions to some areas.

For the region, that can have practical consequences:

Water Security: Reduced rainfall can place additional pressure on reservoirs, groundwater supplies and community water systems.

Agriculture & Food Security: Drier conditions can affect crop production, soil moisture and livestock water availability, particularly where irrigation capacity is limited.

Wildfire Risk: Hotter and drier conditions can increase the risk of vegetation drying out and fires spreading more easily.

Energy & Infrastructure: Changes in rainfall and water availability can affect hydropower generation, agriculture-dependent economies and critical infrastructure.

The impacts of El Niño are not uniform across the Caribbean, and conditions can vary by island and over time. That makes climate monitoring, water planning and early action particularly important.

Climate resilience starts with understanding the conditions ahead.

EnviroTek Group works with Caribbean governments and businesses to strengthen resilience through environmental data, climate intelligence and practical solutions.
