i recently got the chance to connect with Lexi from @daubanddesign at her vancouver shop.

one thing that fascinates me about social media is how it can connect compete strangers who may not have ever crossed paths without it.

i love mount pleasant. and i love connecting with other - women-owned businesses. this was a fun experience creating with Lexi, and Rachelle (also an entrepreneur @ournetworktech) - that started with a simple dm.

and this is my recap on the day ✨ i’m feeling really inspired by this series - i think i’ll keep going. stay tuned for more

When it comes to choosing the causes I stand behind, I’m always drawn to the ones that feel personal and the ones whose mission truly speaks to my heart.

@glowingbeyond is one of those special causes.

Denise’s vision to celebrate, empower, and shine a light on women over 40 truly resonates with me. We spend so much of our lives celebrating youth, but why shouldn’t we celebrate getting older, becoming wiser, growing stronger, and stepping into our power.

There is so much beauty in every chapter of a woman’s life, and I love that @glowingbeyond reminds us that life doesn’t become less exciting after 40, it can become even more meaningful. I am experiencing this firsthand.

So proud to be a sponsor and support such an incredible vision and community as the funds goes towards @bcwomensfdn I got to experience first hand the care as I delivered all of my children at Women’s hospital.

A week of summer soirées, celebrating incredible women doing incredible things.

It was such a joy to support the @beayoutiful_org at their Summer Soiree this week. A special thank you to founder @taylorlinhui for everything she does to help create a confident, kind, and empowered next generation of women.

Also loved celebrating another successful year of @thevanitylab Thank you to founder @botox_betty for being such an incredible host and bringing everyone together for such a beautiful evening.

A week filled with friendship, connection, purpose, and so much to celebrate. Feeling very grateful for these summer moments.

Here’s the thing about me: I’m a sucker for party-planning. I live for this. Gathering people, building an energy, watching a rooftop turn into a room full of connection… it lights me up. And is nothing I love more than bringing people together for something that will have a lasting impact on our next generation 💛 Golden Hour happened — our first-ever rooftop soirée for @beayoutiful_org — was a sold out event and my heart is so full (thinking we should make this an annual fundraiser?).

I also have a favorite little ritual during these events. At some point, I sneak away for 60 seconds and I take it all in from the back corner or a random nook. One quiet moment to soak up what we built before diving back into the beautiful chaos. That pause is everything and a grounding reminder to soak in the joy and remember the why.

Every single person and sponsor who showed up helped fund confidence and mental wellness programming for girls and non-binary youth across Canada. You made that happen just by being there.

To everyone who came, glowed, donated and even danced with us — thank you. Let’s do it again. 🥂
