Beardfest is taking a year off, but we still wanted to do something special. So we’re teaming up with Afroman for a legendary one-off performance at Paradise Lakes.

After last year’s performance with Ms. Lauryn Hill and Zion Marley, we couldn’t resist putting together another unforgettable collaboration.

We’re honored that Afroman said YES! He’ll be performing his viral album Lemon Pound Cake front to back, backed by the live music of Out of the Beardspace.

July 4 • Paradise Lakes • Tickets on sale now • See you there! 🇺🇸🍋

That time when we played Magic Man by @heartofficial with the besties…💅🏻

Xtina here..if you know me you know how much I love prog rock. I’ve looked up to @outofthebeardspace since I found out they existed and fell in love with their music & expression. To collaborate with a few of my idols was not only a treat but a dream come true..combined with my incredible crew of absolute baddies…🤯 it was pure magic.🪄 Looking back at this video has me in tears…the pure expressions flying off the screen right into my heart, not only from each member of the band but from the audience too. This is what music is all about. It’s a shared experience that impacts our hearts and reminds us of our oneness. I am he as you are he and you are me as we are all together. 🫶🏻

👉 Despite not being a consistent lead vocalist, I’ve always loved singing these words because I resonate with them deeply. It’s a reminder to always hone and heed your intuition. Flashes of inspiration, moments of “psychic” foresight and connection, whispers from God are always there for us when we’re quiet and fearless enough to hear them.

Obsess, dream….it’s all as it seems
Never define … unknown sublime….sight
Use the mind’s eye … don’t let it die out”

#recordforsunday: Like Moths To A Flame by @outofthebeardspace
This week’s pick keeps the theme of incredible artists I’ve discovered through opening sets. Earlier this year, Beardspace, a local band from the Philly/South Jersey area, absolutely floored me when they opened for @tigranhamasyan.

I walked into @ardmoremusichall just as their set was kicking off, and for a moment, I was convinced this high-energy performance had to be the headliner. A few songs later, they introduced themselves, and it became clear that much of the crowd was their friends, supporters, and regulars at their annual festival, @beardfestnj.

Like Moths To A Flame (2022) captures that same energy: a fusion of jazz, prog rock, psychedelic funk, and pure joy. It’s a wild, fun listen, and a band more people definitely need to know about.
