So, whose vision is it anyway?

We had a blast celebrating design week @designphilly with an exploratory panel discussion surrounding the challenges of creative authorship paid work, and designing for clients.

Our 3 panelists all brought unique takes to this conversation — @richard_gabriele from a fine arts perspective, @ovuud from lighting design and fabrication, and @litalgold from illustration and corporate creative lens.

A special thanks to @hotel_anna_bel for co-hosting with us, and @designphilly for putting on an amazing design week. We are so honored to be a small part of the creative world here in Philadelphia.

SIGHTED: SHINE for NYCxDESIGN

At this year’s New York Design Week, SHINE pushed lighting beyond traditional fixtures and into something far more experimental. The exhibition brought together 70 artists and designers working with unconventional materials, textures, and forms, showing how light can completely change the way an object is perceived.

What stood out most was the reminder that almost anything can become a lamp, just so long as light can shine through.

I’m curious to know which ones are your favorite? It was so hard to choose.
