POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

10 years ago, today, I made my first tiny art show :’)

Feeling very nostalgic and grateful while making this post, especially when thinking about all the artists and creatives who I’ve gotten to work with over these past 10 years.

This might just be the tiniest art gallery in the world, courtesy of @tinyartshow. Embedded by @owenjohn underneath the door of a mobile phone shop on Brick Lane, the Wee Tiny Gallery features tiny art pieces by illustrator @hollywelchie. The twist is that you are not only viewing the artwork, you’re also viewing the viewers within.

How many people pass by this fun little installation every day without even realising it?

Hidden in plain sight on Brick Lane 🔍✨

Found London’s tiniest art gallery: The Wee Tiny Gallery by @tinyartshow - tucked inside a missing brick at 106 Brick Lane in Shoreditch 🧱🎨 Currently showcasing a tiny solo exhibition by local artist @hollywelchie. Proof that great art really can exist in the smallest spaces.

Creativity isn’t about shouting the loudest. Sometimes, it’s about being the tiniest. The wee tiniest, in fact.

When the Wee Tiny Gallery pops up on your doorstep, you simply have to make the 5 minute pilgrimage to Brick Lane to check it out.

Installed by @owenjohn with design elements by @hollywelchie, they’ve created something that punches far above its square footage. Small-scale work with serious (adorable) craft.

In an area full of things trying very hard to be memorable, it’s a reminder that scale has NOTHING to do with impact/surprise and delight.

Go check it out on Princelet Street, and take a look at their other works @tinyartshow

London’s Tiniest Art Gallery by @tinyartshow with @hollywelchie installed by @owenjohn.

It’s only been here since mid-April and shoutout to @cloakedcity who shared a video which alerted me to it.

Happy hunting!
