Helping everyday people reach financial freedom

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Receiving the Rising Leader Award meant more to me than simply being recognized.

Standing in that room, I kept thinking about how differently every person there had arrived at that moment.

Different backgrounds. Different experiences. Different struggles. Yet somehow we had all ended up in the same room, working toward becoming better versions of ourselves.

My own path into this business almost never happened. I was brought in during a time when the person who introduced me was close to walking away themselves. Had a few decisions gone differently, I may never have met many of the people who have impacted my life this year.

That has made me think a lot more about timing, the people placed in our lives, and how much can change because of one conversation or one decision.

I’m grateful for the recognition, but even more grateful for the people, lessons, and experiences that brought me to that moment.

There is still a lot I’m learning and a long way I want to go.

This one meant a lot.

I remember those days when it was just me, no idea what would happen, and a vision for creating a better life for myself and others.

Now I get to travel the world, help people, become a better human and get paid to do it all with the people I love.

Name a better feeling…. I’ll wait 🔥

At the start of this month, I had the opportunity to attend a GFI Men’s Retreat at Lake Shasta in California.

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I left. My goals were pretty simple: become a better leader, become better in business, and come home with something I could apply to the life I’m building.

What happened over those four days became much more than that.

It wasn’t simply a chance for men to spend time together. It was an environment that challenged us to look honestly at who we are, where we’re falling short, and who we still have the ability to become.

There were conversations about leadership, business, faith, family, discipline, responsibility, and what it means to genuinely want more—not only for yourself, but for the people around you.

What stood out to me most was the environment.

More than 300 people were together, yet there was very little ego. Instead, I saw people who genuinely wanted the person beside them to win just as much as they wanted to win themselves.

That is rare.

A lot of organizations talk about culture. Very few create an environment where you can actually feel it through the actions of the people around you.

I went to California expecting to become better in business and leadership.

I came home looking differently at who I am, who I want to become, and the life I want to build.

There is still a lot from those four days that I’m processing.

But one thing I know for certain:

I am not the same person who left for this retreat.

Most men stumble through life aimlessly. We are the connected and educated generation in history and yet men are experiencing loneliness, depression, anxiety, and a slew of other issues in astounding numbers. Being a part of a brotherhood after my time in service has done more for me mentally, spiritually, and emotionally than I could’ve ever anticipated.
.
You don’t have to be a man, but if you’re seeking a greater sense of fulfillment in your career. As well as, want to be a part of something greater than just your corporate culture (which cares nothing of your actual growth as a human being)- shoot me a DM and let’s see if this might be a good fit.

Take back control. Find your way. Win 🏆

8-mile speed workout today. I started with an 800-meter warm-up at a 7:30 mile pace, followed by 7 × 1-mile repeats at 6:00 pace or faster with 2–3 minutes of rest between each repeat. I finished with an 800-meter cool-down at a 9:00 mile pace.

I did a similar workout months ago when I was training for shorter, faster races, and it’s safe to say I can definitely tell the difference after spending the last few months focusing almost entirely on volume. I’m not upset about the splits because I know I’m faster than what I ran today—I just haven’t been training for speed. My focus has been preparing for this ultramarathon.

I’ll start adding more speed workouts back into my training to sharpen that side of my fitness. Aside from that, it was a great workout, and I can’t complain. God Is Great‼️
