Gin Team wins the SRS Piedrahíta Gin Team takes the team victory at the SRS in Piedrahíta, with Carlos Lopes winning the overall classification and Martina Centa taking the women’s title. The Gin Team secured another team victory in the Sports Racing Series, this time at the SRS Piedrahíta in Spain. Held from 22 to 29 August, the event was originally scheduled for seven tasks, with three valid tasks eventually completed, due to difficult weather conditions. Carlos Lopes finished the competition at the top of the overall classification, while Martina Centa claimed the win in the women’s classification. Both pilots flew the GTO 3. With another team victory and wins in both the overall and women’s classifications, the SRS Piedrahíta adds another team success to Gin’s 2026 competition season. Congratulations to all the pilots for the good performance! Link to the new in our Bio! @sportsclassracingseries #gingliders #ginGTO3 #GinGenieRace6 #sportclass #paragliding

A year ago I was competing at my first @officialparaglidingworldcup and during the last task I was hit by another pilot who had spun their wing and was cascading down through the gaggle. I am lucky to have escaped with only minor cuts, bruises and a non displaced sacrum fracture. My favorite part of the day was surviving our impact with the ground. My second favorite part of the day was finding out that @ozgurbiroz had captured the event on video. My real favorite part of the day was meeting a cute Turkish Street Kitten that evening who I’ve been inseparable from since. @turkishlucy has changed my life….I used to be a stubborn aloney pants and now I am a spontaneous and social cat lady. Thanks to @flyfreerunwild and @ozibiusz for being great friends and convincing me to keep her. #paraglidingworldcup #paragliding #parapente #paraglideturkey #turkey #turkey🇹🇷 #midair #midaircollision #crash #crashlandingonyou #aksaray #istanbul #ozone #charly #upparagliders #hydrapak #aviation #aviationlovers #rescue #parachute #hookknife

One week has passed since Montegrappa Trophy and I´m still happy that I have qualified for this competition and had the opportunity to fly with the best pilots. Never have I flown a comp, which frustrated me so much and at the same time I´ve learned more than in every competition before. I noticed highly skilled pilots when it came to collapses, low safes, overall discipline, task speed, the right timing when to push and when not to and the high number of pilots with arrived in the first minutes after the first in goal. When I made goal, the landing site was mostly already pretty empty 😅... I had the feeling to not fit into the gaggle with my Zeolite GT, a small, lightweight, low EN D paraglider which I love to fly, but which is not able to keep up with all the CCC paragliders flown by excellent pilots. This resulted that I often had no gaggle to fly with for a longer time and especially in the flats, surviving alone isn´t easy. Everything is easier with a well working gaggle🪂🪂🪂 I still have to learn a lot and improve my skills, many times when I bombed out I made mistakes and pilots with similar wings managed to pass me. But that´s the good part, we can learn from our mistakes and come back stronger 💪 Thanks for the organisation Team and the pilots for a great Montegrappa Trophy! 😁 Foto 1 by #trofeomontegrappa #trofeomontegrappa #paraglidingcompetition #paragliding #paraglidinglife #paraglidingworld #gleitschirmfliegen #parapente #streckenfliegen #ozoneparagliders #zeolitegt #flyozone #paraglidingwomen not #paraglidinggirls

I am back home safely from from My first PWC tour event. It didn’t quite end as planned but I’ll cover that in a separate post. It was a super educational and fulfilling experience. I made a bunch of new friends and I learned a lot about flying at a higher level. It became especially clear what my strengths and weakness are… What I can do well and need to remain humble about and what I need to really work on and train. Best of all I am learning to be nice to myself and how that enhances my ability to learn. I had a few of the best moments of my flying career and also a few of the worst. Now I am resting my body and letting my brain process the experience. The emotions right now are really strong and super vivid and that’s why I chose this photo where I am crying tears of relief and excitement after my best task finish ever. I love this game and can’t wait to get better by playing more. Next stop is the World Championships in Loma Bola, Argentina ! @officialparaglidingworldcup @upparagliders @eagleparagliding @letflyparagliding @ozibiusz @flyfreerunwild #paragliding_news #paranormal #paraglidinggirls #paragliding #paraglidingworldcup #turkey #aksaray #ankara #europe #progression #shetravels #sheexplores #argentina #korteldesign #eagleparagliding
