The year of change 🧙🏼‍♂️

During the final few days of 2024 I was preparing for my time with a camera to come to an end. Understanding and accepting that change is inevitable helped me focus on ‘controlling the controllables’

This year I have experienced heart break, frustration, anger, confusion and self doubt…as everyone does.

But this has been overcome by using 2 common denominators.

COURAGE - To take the first step into the unknown, to accept challenges in order to grow, to ask questions, to follow my heart and to believe in myself.

FRIENDS - No one is invincible. I could not have endeavoured through and conquered any of the above without the support from the heroes that not only hold me up, but pull me back to my feet when I have fallen.

Whether we have only met once or you have been a close friend for 20+ years.
Whether we have shared an extensive amount of phone calls or you have asked me how my weekend was.

I thank you. I thank you because every experience WE have, is a SHARED rep in building BOTH towards becoming OUR best selves.

I also thank those who inflicted challenge into my days.

“My past enemies are now my best teachers.”

Pushing me to explore the path of becoming a ‘Good man’ instead of a ‘Nice guy’

A ‘Nice guy’ is the one that makes the easy decisions which are not always correct. This puts him in the best light for others and his own mind at ease.

A ‘Good man’ is the one that makes the tough decisions even if they don’t put him in the best light for others. Knowing that it is the right decision in the end, even if it was a painful one. He is disciplined and displaces his emotions for a short moment in order to handle the task at hand the best he can.

What have I learnt this year?

“Life is subjective”

Absolutely everything that happens to us has positives and negatives. It is up to you to choose which fuel you burn to get you through to the next challenge.

Happy New Year and I wish you all the best in 2026. Learn from your lessons and keep moving forward 🫡

🌏🧥🪨 @p._wizard with some weird synth music. Dialing in those peculiarly eargasmic textures.
Perfect example of building a whole mood just from feel and a few carefully twisted knobs.
