I aim to demystify health and fitness because it really shouldn’t be as complex as it is. Every day, we’re swamped with overwhelming information, temptations, and frankly, a lot of nonsense. I won’t sugarcoat it—achieving great shape isn’t a walk in the park. It demands time, energy, effort, discipline, resilience, and surrounding yourself with like-minded individuals. But once you’ve made it, maintaining it is relatively straightforward. Stick to clean eating—focus on single-ingredient foods for about 80 to 90 percent of your diet, depending on your goals. Ensure daily movement, hydrate well, prioritize sleep, and seriously, consider removing the TV from your bedroom. Sleep is crucial.⁣
⁣
If self-control is a challenge, take charge of your surroundings. Enlist a friend to clear out unhealthy snacks from your home—yes, really toss them. Relocate your TV, charge your phone outside your bedroom, and always carry a water bottle. Trust me, that nightly beer or cocktail is more harmful than you think—it’s subtly undermining your health.⁣
⁣
Ultimately, it’s about facing the mirror and making a choice. Do you truly want this? If yes, then let’s cut through the clutter and make it happen. Yes, it’s tough initially, but then it becomes second nature. Our health is our most valuable asset. To truly be there for ourselves, our loved ones, and to make the most of our lives, prioritizing our health isn’t just a choice—it’s a necessity.⁣
⁣
I believe in you, even if you’re still doubting yourself. Keep it simple, seek help when needed, and remember, living a BLDR, healthier life is incredibly rewarding. Let’s do this! 👊💪⁣

Hey BA fam!
Are you looking to maximize your strength and conditioning gains? Don’t forget about the importance of carbohydrates in your diet! Carbs are essential for providing energy to fuel your workouts and aid in muscle recovery. Eating the right carbs at the right time can make a big difference in your training results.
Here are some tips and all-natural carb options to help you fuel your workouts:
1) Eat complex carbs before your workout to provide sustained energy. Examples include sweet potatoes, whole-grain bread, and quinoa.
2) Simple carbs like fruit are great to eat during or immediately after your workout to replenish glycogen stores and aid in muscle recovery.
3) Don’t be afraid of carbs! They are an essential macronutrient and necessary for overall health and fitness.
4) Carb cycling can be a useful tool for maximizing training results. This involves alternating between high-carb and low-carb days to optimize performance and fat loss.
5) Oatmeal is a great option for breakfast or as a pre-workout snack, providing sustained energy.
6) Brown rice is a good choice for post-workout meals to aid in muscle recovery.
7) Fruits like bananas, apples, and berries are great for providing quick energy during your workout.
8) Lentils and beans are a good source of carbs and protein, making them a great addition to post-workout meals.
9) Vegetables like sweet potatoes, squash, and carrots are high in carbs and also provide important vitamins and minerals.
10) Whole-grain pasta and bread are good carb options for a pre-workout meal.

Remember, it’s important to eat a balanced diet that includes all macronutrients, including carbs. Don’t skimp on this essential nutrient if you want to see the best results from your training!
