I put superglue on my hands this weekend. I do not recommend you do this.

Cool stuff from Chi Town

Did I get all the glue off?

MEET RECAP👇🏼

160/92.5/212.5 / 1025lb Total (+77lb PR)

115 GL / 556 DOTS

I spent the entirely of this “prep” testing out different form, diet habits, and styles of training. I’ve learned an insane amount about myself as an individual and the way my body responds to different types of stimulus. My goal was to hit a 100lb+ platform PR but I fought my handler and sandbagged my squats out of fear (as always), and died on bench because I didn’t hit elbow depth ONCE in training🤣🤣 For starting my period 36 hours before the meet and getting a neck/trap/rhomboid strain 2 weeks out (it was worth the PR Iykyk), I’ll take it!
For everyone saying the SBD bootcamp I’ve put my body through for the last 5 months was stupid, I abra kadabra‘d an all time best gym total out my cooter the next morning (my CNS is unmatched. bite me). I had fun from the start of prep, all the way to my last lift on the platform. Big shoutout to my D1 meat handler @donovanpugh who got thrown into this on a whim. It’s difficult handling someone who you don’t coach or know thoroughly as a lifter, and I don’t think I want it any other way now <3 I’m overwhelmed by the amount of love and support I’ve received from all of you, friends AND strangers. I always say everyone believes in me more than I do, and that’s big🤍 This was by far the most calm and collected I’ve been during a meet, and when I figure out how to quit being a neurotic weirdo and compete at my fullest potential, it’s over.
This is MY lifting journey, not yours. Stay in your lane, gain weight, use code “MERCER”, and cope harder. Muah! <3

5W Midwest showdown recap: 7/9 (choked on bench and deadlifts but what’s new.)
.

Squat: 330kg/727lbs.
Bench: 227.5kg/ 501lbs (missed 237.5kg/ 523lbs)
Deadlift: 325kg/ 717lbs (missed 340kg/ 750lbs Hail Mary)
.
Only thing I matched was my ATPR deadlift. 882.5kg/ 1941 total @ 103.7kg. 109.6GL, 535 DOTS.
.

Learning experience, too much to work on, not a lot of time before PA NATS. It was great competing with everyone and the level of production was top quality.
.

Thanks @deion.lifts for running the ship last minute 🫱🏽‍🫲🏻 won’t disappoint next time.

I choked 22lbs off my total by going 1/3 on bench, but went 9/9 on strength (which is 9/9 in the bro lift community). Yuhh.
