We had so much fun at the weekend playing a couple shows! Had the pleasure of jumping on the @twisterellafestival lineup last minute on Saturday (thanks for the call-up😘), and supporting @dateline3.0 in Gateshead on Sunday alongside @thesusfour 🤝🤝 They both frickin rocked 🤟🤟 so was a joy to be on such a stacked bill! Thanks for having us @p4foxes

Next up we're off on tour with @knomusicuk at the end of the month, then it's time for our HEADLINE TOUR in November!!! All tickets in our bio xxx

PORTIONS FOR FOXES flyer 2007

Some pretty great gigs on this one, not sure how long Portions For Foxes had been promoting at this point but this is a decent roster.

Wish I’d been familiar with Parts and Labor at the time, would’ve been good to see them. This was one of the only times I missed Future Of The Left in Newcastle.

Jinn supported Daughters in Sunderland, there weren’t that many people there but there were two girls at the front hassling the singer guy, they eventually ripped his shirt off his back to which he said something like “let’s just go the fuck home” to his band. They finished the set regardless.

It is quite bizarre and exciting and a little stressful that this tour starts in a month!! Just one small month to get a lot done and organised which is so fine and not overwhelming at all. I am feeling VERY lucky and grateful for the amazing musicians who are playing with us / helping organise shows / helping with gear as well as the promoters who generously replied to my emails and said ... fine... lets do it, and have helped to get this off the ground. It is actually quite hard to organise something like this all the way from New Zealand.. especially when you have a million other things to do all the time. If you live in any of these places please get your tickets and come along to support us, the other bands, the venues, the promoters and all the legends who help making fun things like ROCK SHOWS happen because how dull would life be without them.. See you VERY soon UK! @whoaregoo @zoliefmusic @weareactrs @p4foxes @folklore1 @lovethyneighbr @eipcollective @deadpunkpromo @deadslowhoot @zarasm1le and the biggest I LOVE YOU to Liam / @taauataaua who made this incredible poster and tolerated my very slow posting and poor comms while I told myself I had heaps of time to get to this admin... 12/12 Day 3

Two days of intense photography from a field further south to the Ouseburn Valley finally was taking its toll but I mustered in the last bit of energy for the festival closers Militarue Gun and I'm so glad I did as the energy walking through the crowd into the pit was insanely awesome. I nearly didn't make it as another photographer of the official team said they had it covered but then couldn't. Best last minute decision ever 💥

I had never actually heard of Militarie Gun until the day but the energy they and the crowd brought could have blown the roof off the venue. After a bit of uncertainty towards the end of the night it was the perfect way to end the weekend on a high. It was lush seeing the band take their time with the fans that stayed behind too. Yeah I'll take that ⚡

Thank you to David and Hannah for having me be part of the team🙌🏼

I was so excited to see The Wednesday Flowers on the bill as a few years ago at one of their first ever shows they absolutely blew me away. I went away thinking this group definitely deserve all the flowers they are going to be getting in the future so this is kinda hard to write.

I kept raving about this quintet to those I was working alongside then showtime came and it felt like a lot of waiting around for this headline slot and being quite close to well established headliners nearby for a group still establishing themselves I felt they were let down a bit by the turn out.

Big credit to The Wednesday Flowers though as they played their heart out and interacted to those that turned up like they were closing out the festival and if they keep doing this then I believe they are still destined for big things.

It's great believing in people and giving them these slots on festivals but industry people YOU HAVE TO SHOW UP TOO especially when they are one of your people. Come on give The Wednesday Flowers the biggest bouquets they deserve 💐

Thank you to David and Hannah for having me be part of the team🙌🏼

Once I realised Dossers were finally coming to my neck of the woods I was so excited as this quintet always bring the vibe but if I'm honest for this performance they were let down.

I was just leaving another venue then was told to hang back but no one said why so I was stuck another 10 mins at the other side of Ouseburn then when I finally got to The Old Coa House the band were in the last few mins of their set cos their set was pushed forward but there was no announcement for this so yeah I feel we were both let down and although frustrating, with Dossers being Dossers I loved those last few minutes 🫶🏼

Thank you to David and Hannah for having me be part of the team🙌🏼

It was a mad dash back to see The Chisel and it was chaotic in every way.

Which way do you look? Do you keep capturing the action or do you join the chaos. Simply just do both right. Chisel yourself to the core💥

When I saw Stevie What? on the bill it was a set I knew I had to get to as I had met him about 8 months prior and I was so intrigued about his story.

Unfortunately I didn't catch the full set but I'm definitely intrigued for more.
