Excerpts from New York By Day, the immersive installation by Optical Animal at the new LaGuardia Airport Terminal B in NYC

The project allowed us to walk the city from end to end, looking to capture on film and on audio tape just an ounce of the magic one can feel on a typical day just about anywhere across the 5 boros

It led us to find some beautiful corners and to meet some incredible people - affirming that in this city you can strike up a conversation with a random stranger and more often than not they’ll share some wisdom or perspective that can change the way you see the world

Featuring the voice of @whoisjoshjacobs 🙌❤️

New York By Day is all LOVE ❤️ from start to finish. It allowed us to travel to all corners of the 5 boros, meeting and speaking with neighbors to find what connects us, and what makes this city the greatest in the world.
