two weeks in guatemala in the @experiencehouse vortex is hard to describe— an eclectic mix of adult summer camp, experience design workshop, experimental wellness retreat, and bohemian hackathon. turns out that if you meticulously curate ~40ish thoughtful humans in a beautiful place and give them resources to make magic, interesting moments unfold.

we faced fears, made friends, discovered good sticks. we performed to kids, serenaded volcanoes, stayed up to welcome the sun’s rising. we taught workshops, tuned into our earnest selves, delighted in each other’s quirks. there were challenging moments, but the resilience in everyone to look at their baggage with a lot of grace was remarkable. so all in all… extremely cute.

now diving back into real life— nursing a parasite, whirlwind of travel, new chapter of work, friendships forged in lava. more treasures to be mined from these depths soon 🪄

A little over a year ago I decided to pursue my passion in music. And now little by little the dream is coming true. It took a leap of faith but opportunity meets intentions. A year ago I felt a paradox of running out of time and being too old to try something new or pursue my passion. But if not now when? I spent the past decade building a business and now I’m blessed with the opportunity and ability to follow my dreams. I know it’s just the beginning but it feels so surreal and exciting to be doing something for the love of it. And although parts of me feel like I might be too old to do something so fun I know if I don’t do it now life will continue it fly by. And another decade will go by and I’ll wonder why I didn’t try ealier. I have faith that my dream of playing on a big festival stage will come true. I was blown away to see people dancing and singing my songs. I can’t wait till one day I’m playing in front of thousands of people and they’re all there because my music connected with them on a deeper level. I want to create the moments that become memories. I want to help people transcend their normal lives and tap into their inner child and being and fully feel free. Sometimes I feel awkward posting pictures and videos of my journey. It’s hard and sometimes can be challenging and vulnerable. But I hope sharing a little joy and love as I step out of my comfort zone will inspire others to do the same and live their life of their dreams. As I turn 39 today, I want to thank everyone that came out to support and celebrate with my last weekend as I played my music. Your presence and support means the world to me and the fact that you showed up has me filled with love and gratitude. It’s your smiling faces and your hugs and cheers that keeps me going and helps me step out of my comfort zone and into the spotlight. Thank you for all the encouragement. Thank you for being there, for dancing, for lifting me up in ways you don’t even know. I’m looking forward to the day when I’m playing at EDC and we look back on these moments with nostalgia. Cheers my friends. Love you all. ❤️ Special thanks to @tim_ortiz @eventvibe @lumirooftop

Although I won’t be returning to the dusty city of free love and child-like joy this year to focus on other goals in my life, I continue to fight for the ethos of burning man to integrate into every aspect of my life: radical creativity, radical self-expression, being of service to humanity, and the belief in a grand order of the universe that is waiting to be discovered by each one of us. ✨

Feeling incredibly grateful for the beautiful people in my life here in San Diego. 🌟 After spending some time in what I like to call a little cocoon of self-reflection and inner work this year, it was great to reconnect with three of my favorite local friends. Your inspiration and big hearts have been a true blessing to me.

Over the last three years, amazing friends have helped me transform my life. Yet, I’ve learned that it’s just as important to honor those stages in our personal journey where solitude and processing are necessary for growth.

I’m excited to continue to expand into new and existing friendships and connections, ready to contribute to the lives of others and be enriched by the beautiful energy we share. After all, this is how we change society, and ultimately, how we change our world. 🌍💫
