We’re a recreational road cycling club 🚴‍♀️ 🚴 🚴‍♂️ Our no-drop rides in the S. Okanagan focus on fun & safety & a coffee stop ☕️ 📍Penticton, B.C. 🇨🇦

Hi! I’m Kim (she/her), creator of Clipped In Conferences.

I started Clipped In because I couldn’t find another conference quite like it—a conference focused on the health, fitness and well-being of women cyclists.

Why “Clipped In”? Because when you’re clipped in, whether on a road, gravel or mountain bike, you’re committed. You’re all in. You’re powerful, inspired and confident. That’s how I want people to feel by the end of the conference.

I’m so excited about our line-up of speakers and keynote speaker, @meaghanhackinen All are experts in their fields, cyclists and athletes, and understand what women need to ride strong and ride long, for life.

I’ve been riding since I was six years old. I’m a road cyclist at heart and dabble in gravel riding 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️ Mountain biking was great while it lasted, but we didn’t always get along so I broke up with MTB. We’re on good terms! 😁

Five years ago, I started the PACA Paceliners road cycling club in Penticton so people could ride together, make friends and drink coffee ☕️ Today we have 162 members.

I’m a passionate community builder, connector and marketing/communications professional in the healthcare field.

I’m a mom to four incredible young adults, a partner to a cyclist, and dog mom too🐕

I look forward to meeting you at Clipped In. In the meantime, ride strong.

Kim

March 29 - PACA Trail Captain Day – Three Blind Mice
Help us get the Three Blind Mice network ready to ride.

Trail Captain Day is a focused volunteer day where volunteers are assigned a trail to clear debris, check conditions, and report issues. This isn’t a heavy dig day—it’s about light maintenance + eyes on trails to help PACA prioritize work for the season.

What You’ll Do

Clear deadfall and debris

Check for erosion and safety concerns

Identify trail damage and maintenance needs

Learn how to submit a simple trail report on Trail Forks

This gives PACA a clear snapshot of trail conditions across the network and helps direct crews to where work is needed most.

Details

Location: Poplar Grove Lot
Time: March 29th, 10am - 1pm
Duration: ~4 hours

Bring: Gloves, water, snacks, phone, and any small tools you have (loppers/saw/shovel/rake).

During an event like the Okanagan Gran Fondo, the last thing you want to hear is the wail of sirens. It fills you with dread. You don’t know what’s happened and you wait for the news.

Yesterday, a cyclist lost their life and two others were seriously injured when all three were struck by a car near St. Andrews. These are all the details we have right now.

Everyone will process an event like this differently.

Whether you hold your loved ones a little tighter, quietly reflect or are trying to understand why, if you need support, please reach out. This can be a friend or family member, a professional like a counsellor, or your church community.

In the Interior, the following resources are available:
- 811 (HealthLink BC)
- 310-MHSU (6478). This is Interior Health’s main number for mental health support. They can connect you with resources in your community.

Ride safe.

Day 24 in the books!

Bob crushed his lifts as always, and I joined the crew at @paca_paceliners for a ride—added some extra kms to make up for that missed day.

It was an absolutely gorgeous day out there. Now it’s time to chill, refuel, and get ready to do it all again tomorrow.
