あえてポジティブな感想を書くなら、3位で“悔しい”と思えたのは成長かなと。

世界大会では望む結果を得られますように。

If I had to find something positive in it, I think the fact that I was disappointed with third place shows how much I’ve grown.

I hope I can achieve the result I’m aiming for at Worlds.

What’s it’s like staying until sunrise

EDC Day 1 ✅

The best parts of my day 1 experience from my phone. I love that each year I record less and less and focus on being present for the experience.

Everything became the best memory except for not making it to the finals. See you again in Himeji next year🇯🇵🏯

A lot has changed in the decade since my first ever yoyo contest: Worlds 2015 in Tokyo. No longer the extremely inexperienced teen, hyper-fixated on competition (probably because I’m too bad to compete anyway), I was a chill contest volunteer this year. Beyond the registration, pass checking, and hall supervision duties, I was able to meet so many talented and interesting people from all over the world who share a love of small spinning objects. Meeting my favourite players I had only ever watched on YouTube, making new friends, and catching up with old friends over the last few days; this was an unforgettable experience and perfect birthday gift as I reach quarter life.

Thank you Worlds 2025.
