#Irtijal26 | Day 3 | Thursday October 8, 2026 | 20:00 @metroalmadina . [ @praedband ] @raedyassinstudio (Keyboards, Laptop, Electronics, Vocals) @paedconca (Clarinet, Electric Bass, Electronics) . Founded by Raed Yassin and Paed Conca in 2006, PRAED brings together Arabic popular music, free jazz and electronics. The duo made its live debut that same year at the Al Maslakh festival in Switzerland, followed immediately by a performance at Irtijal in Beirut. Since then, PRAED has toured extensively and appeared at festivals across Japan, Egypt, Africa, Europe and Canada, building a wide international network of musical collaborators. The band has also performed with expanded lineups under the names PRAED PLUS and PRAED Extended. In 2018, the duo premiered the PRAED Orchestra in Sharjah, joined by Nadah El Shazly, Maurice Louca, Hans Koch, Martin Küchen, Christine Kazairan, Ute Wassermann, Alan Bishop, Radwan Moumneh, Sam Shalabi, Michael Zerang and Khaled Yassine. A new iteration of the orchestra appeared at Belgium’s Summer Bummer Festival in 2022. PRAED’s work explores Arabic popular music—particularly shaabi—and its connections with free jazz, space jazz, psychedelic rock and other hypnotic musical forms. Through their research, the duo has also traced links between shaabi and the music of moulid religious trance ceremonies, examining the shared forms of sonic delirium running through these traditions. . المهرجان الدولي السادس والعشرون للموسيقى التجريبية في لبنان 26th International Festival for experimental music in Lebanon Day 3 (Metro Al Madina) Thursday October 8, 2026 | 20:00 Tickets Online: 20$ At the door: 25$ Festival Pass: 50$ Swipe to meet the artists!➡️ Boond! Ghiwa Tayar Vocalist and lyricist Joe Nassar Drums and daraj Oscar Fasolini Guitars, keyboard and noises Boond! is an experimental trio formed in Beirut in early 2025 by vocalist and lyricist Ghiwa Tayar, drummer Joe Nassar and guitarist Oscar Fasolini. Combining vocals, drums, guitars, keyboards and noise, the group describes its music as “hopelessly romantic, aggro-loop math noise.”Following a series of appearances within Beirut’s independent music scene, Boond! contributed the track “TQSOD” to Land 02, a benefit compilation curated by Tunefork Studios and Beirut Synth Center in 2026. The track was subsequently featured in a Lebanon-focused broadcast on NTS Radio. Mi3raj معراج Mohamed Tarek Moussa vocals Abdelrahman Shaat Guitar, laptop, additional vocals The experimental duo of poet/vocalist Mohamed Tarek Moussa and producer/multi-instrumentalist Abdelrahman Shaat represents a compelling evolution from the heart of Egypt’s alternative scene. Their artistic partnership is rooted in a shared history, yet is defined by a newly forged singular vision. Their dynamic is one of deep synergy drawing from a jumbled deck of literature, devotional music, avant-folk, Egyptian pop, and more. Moussa’s apocalyptic poetry lays down the essential spine of a track, its emotional and structural core. Instinctively, Shaat’s production wraps around this framework, with genre-bending instrumentation that feel organically grown from the words, shaping a sound garden as dense, layered, and full of forking paths as their home city of Cairo itself.. They operate as two halves of a single creative consciousness, testing the limits of forms.Firstly emerging in their teens under the previous band name “Ramaad,” their releases added a distinct voice to the collective chorus of the post-2011 Egyptian spoken word movement. After the initial wave of activity, the two artists took an extended hiatus, each pouring their

HOUSEWORK No. 212852214 – CARRYING THE HOME (قيد التطوير) (work in progress) ماذا يحدث عندما يصبح العمل المنزلي مرئياً؟ Housework No. 212852214: Carrying the Home – حمل البيت في هذا البحث ويوسّعه. What happens when domestic labor becomes visible? What happens when the house disappears, but the labor remains? Housework No. 212852214 began in 2025 as a multidisciplinary performance investigating domestic labor, motherhood, care, and the invisible, feminized, and unpaid work that sustains everyday life. It was a political intervention: bringing what is usually kept inside the home into the artistic space- cooking, cleaning, washing, carrying, organizing, repairing, caring, remembering. Today, Housework No. 212852214: Carrying the Home continues and expands this work. Created in response to conditions of war and displacement, Carrying the Home asks what happens to reproductive and domestic labor when the home itself becomes unstable, disappears, or has to be rebuilt elsewhere. Through sound, movement, field encounters, collective research, and performance-making, the work follows the labor that remains, and the women who continue to carry it. Creator, Director & Performer: Flavia Juska Bechara Music Composition: Paed Conca Sound Engineer: Samer Beyhum September 10, 11 & 12 Doors: 8 PM Hunna, Okaibeh Tickets: $20 Reservations: 00 961 76 163303 Limited seats.
