Dungeons and Dimwits
By James Mascia
Illustrated by Kodaris @kodarisart
Published By Dren Productions @drenproductions

Jared and his friends love D&D. As the game master, Jared incorporates a character that is ultra powerful. But .... shes so powerful that she rnds up sucking Jared and his friends into their D&D world! James and his friends suddenly find themselves fighting monsters, strategizing and really playing the game live! But their lives are on the line .... they risk being captured, injured and even maybe death! This not only tests their friendship but their will to survive and their ability to work together to outlast the world that they created.

Fantastic mangaidg illustrations and an easy to follow but fun plot! This was a funny graphic novel that was short and sweet. As the first in a five book series, I'm excited to read the other books, especially with the plot twist! *wink wink*

Thank you to @drenproductions for the book to read and review! Thank you to @topplingstackstours for having me on this book tour!

⁉️ QOTD: Have you played D&D? Maybe watched the movie? Are you a role playing fan?

The Bone Brides By Marley Rose-Teter @marleyroseteter Published By Page Street YA @pagestreetya Nola’s dad is dead. Her mother is depressed. And Nola is alone. Her friends got sick of her grief and left her ... except for Lumi. The one girl in Nola’s life that brings her joy because Lumi might as well be happiness in human form, despite her situation at home. When Lumi’s mom tries to kill her again, Lumi decides it’s time to run away. Her and Nola leave and find solace in a rundown house. It's there that Lumi shows Nola her new magic. Lumi is special but there are things that are looking for her. Nola follows Lumi to a different realm filled with fairies and creatures from her dad’s story books. But this isn’t a story and Lumi’s life is on the line. Unique storyline, plot twists and a skeleton rabbit! I enjoyed the friendship storyline, the horror-esque world of fae and the way Nola found her way through. Rating: 8.9 out of 10 After 2 weeks on the road and 3 national tournaments later, I'm finally home. I am the top ranked archer in my division and I made the USA Archery team for 2027. But all I could think about were the books waiting for me in my house that I desperately missed. Home is the best!! ⁉️QOTD: What's the longest you've been away from home? I was on a long Korea trip for 3 weeks once ... but this current 2 week road tripping for archery was the hardest. #pagesforpaige #thebonebrides #marleyroseteter #pagestreetya #topplingstackstours

Let’s get this party started!
Welcome to the My Life, the Total Disaster by @muzzopappaa Book Tour hosted by @storygramtours

A boy’s dreaded chore becomes a cause worth fighting for in an award-winning, heart-lifting, and hilarious novel about friendship, community, and self-discovery.

When disaster-prone twelve-year-old Matt Pesce accidentally sets his neighbor’s hedges on fire, his parents sentence him to community service at a senior center. But what help can Matt possibly be to the likes of the General, who’s glued to old war documentaries, a pair of elderly chess champions, and the ladies of the knitting club?

While his coolness cred at school may have dived, Matt never guessed he’d light such a spark in the lives of his unlikely new friends. A bonus is a teen volunteer who is the most beautiful girl Matt has ever seen. But when the bank threatens to close the center, Matt embarks on a mission to save it―with a plan so monumentally brilliant he’s trademarked it.

Join the unforgettable Matt in this prize-winning novel from Italy, as he rewrites his story and possibly finds his place in the world too.

✍️ This was such a fun read! It has the humor and relatable moments that fans of Wimpy Kid will enjoy, but in the next reading level. I loved how it showed people of different ages coming together and supporting one another. The characters face challenges, but they learn to look for the bright side and find good things even in tough situations. With plenty of laughs, meaningful friendships, and a strong sense of community, this is a book that leaves you smiling between giggles.
