🔮✨ A magical night with @realblackcoffee ✨🔮

Got a few extra steps in after training, dancing the night away to some of my favorite tunes. 💃🏾🎶 Stayed up wayyy past my bedtime, but it was 100% worth it. 🤭

The perfect way to close out an unforgettable summer. ✨🪩🖤

This summer has truly been LIT. 🔥

From Knicks in 5 to the World Cup, parades, concerts, travel adventures and everything in between… your girl has been living her best life. ✨

This one was definitely a core memory. Waiting four hours for JAY-Z to finally hit the stage, then getting to see my queen RiRi, Bey, and so many other artists I love 🥹 all in one night. Worth every second. ❤️‍🔥

I’m the luckiest guy in the world to have worked with such special people. So many laughs on the last night of Bumble, and so many tears. Thank you to everyone who made it happen❤️

Hi NYC, Angela here 🙋🏽‍♀️
I started Baja Studio back in 2019 with not a super clear intention except that I wanted to work in a boutique studio that felt experiential and diverse for myself, my team and clients. I always said you should relax and feel like you’re in my home. I grew up in Riverside, California about an hour east of LA. I am first generation Mexican-American, aka Chicana and my dad’s immigrant experience has really shaped how I view dreams, goals and work ethic. I craved to live in LA and I absolutely loved every opportunity to go as a kid. So I did. I joined a theatre program at Cal Arts and discovered I was not a good actress but I loved the production of the characters. Growing up in the 90’s I had a deep obsession with super models and fashion shows. I used to watch them on VH1, Kate Moss & Naomi Campbell were my everything! Somehow this all naturally led me to NYC shortly after graduating beauty school. I’m so grateful to have had incredible training and mentors along the way from all the greats. Hairdressing and living in NYC has been a blessing in my life. I have and will always love it.

Creating this studio has been nothing short of the hardest and rewarding thing I’ve done with my life next to becoming a mother. I hold this space and my team dear to my heart and I hope you feel that when you’re here.

Fun Fact
•I had a real estate license and worked as a mortgage broker in the early 2000’s
•While I was in hair school, I was a makeup artist first. My dream was to be a MAC counter mua originally

✨Every moment is part of the story ✨ From mid-makeup to post glam, to that final moment when every element of fashion comes together: hair, makeup, wardrobe, and artistry. Here’s a little montage of the stunning @biancajasminelawson
getting ready for Cucculelli during Fashion Week.
Makeup by me.
