🍂 VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: BRAD OWEN ART 🎨 We’re excited to spotlight Brad Owen at the Old Fort Harvest Festival! 🍁 Brad is a self-taught artist who began drawing at just three years old. He spent much of his career as a PhD ecologist before becoming the owner of Painters Greenhouse. Now retired, Brad has returned to his lifelong passion for art and the natural world! His beautiful artwork captures the details and wonder of nature, from birds and butterflies to wildlife, landscapes, and meaningful portraits. 🦋🐦🌿 Each piece reflects his deep appreciation for the world around us and his belief that art helps us truly see and understand nature. We’re thrilled to have Brad sharing his artistic talents with us! Be sure to stop by his booth, meet the artist, and admire his beautiful work in person. 📍 Mauney Memorial Park | Downtown Old Fort, NC 📅 October 24th ⏰ 11 AM – 4 PM Bring your friends, enjoy the fall festivities, shop handmade, and celebrate the amazing artists and makers who make our community so special! ❤️ #OldFortHarvestFestival #BradOwenArt #VendorSpotlight #SupportLocalArtists #OldFortNC HandmadeArt CelebrateLocal

Here’s a Saturday idea: Stop by @paintersgreenhouse for something green to take home and learn about the Old Fort Beautification Committee @oldfortbc Lunch and reflect on your garden projects at @foothillswatershed Park in downtown to check out cool shops like @arrowheadgalleryandstudios , @thecommonpine , @bsideoldfort , @thedaviscountrystore , @theroxyantiquemall , the list goes on and on Get a coffee to go at @seekercoffeenc or an ice cream from @thescreamnc (or both, I’m an enabler not a judge) And then continue on to the @culturasunidasfestival festival in downtown Marion from 3 PM-8 PM (Sept. 12)! Dang, what a fun Saturday you have ahead of you 😉 #mcdowellcountync #oldfortnc #marionnc #828isgreat #westernnorthcarolina
