Fighters/survivors: Have you tried art therapy? 🎨Here’s how to use art/creative expression to relax your mind, reconnect with your soul’s guidance, and activate healing in your body!

A survivor, artist and dear friend, Val (@paintingsfromwithin) has always been an inspiration to us when it comes to this work. Art helped her immensely on her breast cancer journey, and she’s comm
itted to inspiring others do the same.
What are your favorite forms of art? Where could you get started today? You could try painting, using coloring books, making collages/vision boards…

Go let it all out, splash some paint everywhere, build something out of clay, whatever gives you a sense of self expression.

You don’t have to be a professional - just get it OUT of you. Have fun. And let it flow!

What are your thoughts and questions about this work? Drop them in the comments!

Hi!!
This is <<Asleep By The River>>. Original painting by Valerie Graniou-Cook @paintingsfromwithin and original music by me Alanna.
I think this is my favourite of Valerie’s paintings! I especially like the more dark and dulled blues and purples that were used as those are my favourite colours! I also love the little butterflies all around! I hope to work with her on many more collaborations!
