POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Writer and flamenca @rebecadk interviewed me recently as part of the Victoria Festival of Authors.

I’m grateful for her close reading of my book, Who Else in the Dark Headed There (Biblioasis), and our conversation about my work with @palabraflamenco and Jan Zwicky.

A new poem of mine, PALMAS, is a finalist for the Montreal International Poetry Prize. The piece comes out of my nineteen-year study of flamenco, and it’s a companion piece to DOESN’T LOOK FAR, another flamenco poem of mine that you can find online at Hawkeye Magazine.

This weekend, I’ll be reading and performing up-Island in Cumberland, BC. Join us if you can.

On Saturday afternoon, environmental philosopher Jason Wirth will give a talk about the poetry of Jan Zwicky. Jan and I will then perform her long poem Say It, followed by a Q&A.

On Sunday, I’ll read from my new book, Who Else in the Dark Headed There, alongside Robert Bringhurst, who will read from Buying the Ghosts a Drink, a book of interviews soon to be released by Gaspereau Press.

I’d love to see you there.

This poem is a kind of rupture at the centre of my new book, Who Else in the Dark Headed There (@biblioasispublishing, 2026).

You can read the poem in full via the link in my bio.
