🏆 Mammalia wint op TIFF! De korte film Mammalia van regisseur Elia Kalogianni heeft tijdens het Toronto International Film Festival de Short Cuts Award for Best International Short Film gewonnen. De Grieks-Nederlandse coproductie werd binnen CineSud’s POSTCO Lab ondersteund in de postproductie. Vanuit Limburg werkten Max Vonk aan de color grading en Marco Gorissen aan de audio post-productie. Het resultaat beleefde in Toronto zijn wereldpremière en werd daar nu bekroond met de internationale juryprijs. Een bijzondere erkenning voor de film én een mooi voorbeeld van hoe we met POSTCO Lab internationale producties verbinden aan postproductie-expertise en talent uit onze regio. Blood in filmmaking is used as a part of storytelling, enhancing the cinematography and realism . This class will address blood use for makeup effects of all kinds: on skin as well as on the prosthetics. This is an art that needs to be explored and understood. Knowledge of lighting and camera awareness, different types of bloods: liquid , gel, flowing, quick drying, paste and their application technique per skin type. How to develop character make up using blood within the design to inform the narrative of the film . This class will explore all of that.
