A piece of home. @panpottery is made by Angus McDiarmid in Noosa, from clay dug close to his studio and fired with reclaimed Australian timber. The fire decides the finish, so each jar, cup and bowl arrives with its own character.

This week I unpacked some of the goodies I scoured UK markets and auction houses for, alongside a few very sentimental little things from my grandparents’ house that are already bringing me so much joy in the kitchen.

Yesterday we shot the first two capsule collections for @herd.goods…pieces sourced by @georgie_meagher in Puglia and mine from the UK, ready for our new website coming very soon.

A nice week for people who like collecting things. x

We’re excited to share the program for Sunshine Coast Open House 2026!

This year’s theme, Sustainable Inclusive Design, celebrates the transformative power of architecture and design in shaping a more equitable, accessible and environmentally responsible future.

Now in its tenth year, the 2026 Sunshine Coast Open House program features a rich mix of new and returning buildings spanning the length of the Sunshine Coast, from Caloundra to the Noosa Hinterland, alongside a range of lead-up events, talks, walks and conversations.

Most buildings don’t require bookings, but for those that do, you can book tickets from next Friday, 4 September.

When you miss your first born oh so deeply, but feel true happiness seeing the extraordinary life he has created with the woman of his dreams.
My heart is seriously all warm and fuzzy.

Timing was perfection with the Noosa Arts Trail, purely accidental, obviously… although I’m not complaining.

3.5 years ago, we planted a native garden around our home and now I’m cutting from it to style our projects!

For the last two photoshoots, every branch, flower and piece of foliage I’ve used has come from our own garden, gathered in the morning and arranged in my collection of beautiful handmade local vessels.

There is something incredibly rewarding about that. Growing local & supporting local.

What I love most about this little garden is how alive it has become. It’s full of birds, bees, butterflies and frogs. Cockatoos, currawongs, kookaburras and noisy miners are regular visitors, and somehow I’ve even managed to entice tiny finches out of the Tewantin National Park behind us and into the garden.

Our whole family gets so much enjoyment from watching who arrives each day.

What began as planting around our home has slowly become its own little ecosystem, one that feeds and shelters other life, gives us something beautiful to live amongst, and now finds its way back into our work too.

3.5yrs on I never could have imagined how much joy it could bring!

The living room at Saltspell. Designed as the heart of the holiday home, where family and friends gather at the end of long, sun-filled days. Soft sand tones anchor the space, layered with warm rust and mustard that catch the light of golden hour.

Sheer curtains filter the afternoon light, opening the room out to the balcony and waterway beyond. A space made for slow evenings, easy conversation, and the kind of togetherness a holiday home is built for.

For the past five years we have hung our friend’s artworks on the walls of our studio. Paintings by @anthropomorphicmythologyofhope, @maxberry and @hollyterry__ and now our first series of photographs by @kararosenlund. It’s always such a joy to see the pots and paintings and photographs interact. We first met @kararosenlund ten years ago at a market hosted by @vieillebranche, Kara and her partner, Tim have been huge supporters of ours over the years so it feels really wonderful having Kara’s work hanging on our walls. The photos have been a beautiful addition to our Open Studio, we are open daily until Sunday 23rd of August, 10am - 4pm.
