Footscray was a much more regular part of my food rotation when I was a true local, so this list mixes old favourites with more recent visits. Plenty of Vietnamese food here, alongside sandwiches, fried chicken, pizza and a few other options. Some places still hit, while others haven’t matched the memories. 1. Still haven’t made it to some of the bigger names like Sapa Hills or DK Live Seafood. I’ve heard about the chirashi bowls at DK, so that’s on my radar. On Saturday 31 October, I'm giving a talk about my time in Venezuela, focusing mainly on the last 12 months.
