Last week’s opening of the Print Swap Exhibtion @82parris_ 🤎 This was my first time participating in a print swap and it was so neat to be able to exchange physical media with others artists across the globe. Thank you to Micah Sanders + Kaita Dermott @littledeath.art for curating a wonderful collection of work. An additional thanks for @paper.tides for their printing services! The show is on view until September 25th ⭐️ (full list of participating artists available to view on Little Death’s website).

🌼 This Spring we hosted a fundraiser at @flatbreadcompanyportland to support the Breakwater Community, and received many donations to our silent auction.
🌼 @rachelgloriaia, local artist and BW parent, donated custom family portrait printed by @paper.tides. Ann Nelson, fellow Breakwater Parent + valued member of our Development Committee, won this beautiful print and collaborated with Rachel to create this portrait!
🌼 We are so grateful for our this community’s support of our students, teachers and community at large!

Turns out little tin cans hold a whole lot of history! 🐟

Excited to share this project that dives into the story of Maine’s sardine tins — those small, shiny rectangles that quietly carried more than a century of the state’s fishing and aquatic-farming heritage.

Big thanks to the crew that made it happen: @thegreenhorns for the vision, For All The Fish for fighting the good fight for Maine’s wild waters, @eatdowneastmaine for keeping local food in the spotlight, and @paper.tides for the beautiful printing + layout!

Vessels and the things they hold—the theme I have been exploring in my monthly art subscription. My vessels usually hold flowers and coffee, fruit and feelings. What might yours hold?
