POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🍎🍏 Apple Cider- Book that became a new comfort read
Honestly, I have been in a slump for a while, but the latest addition to comfort reads Divine Rivals. It had been a while since I read it but I fell in love with the whole premises.

🎃 Pumpkin Pie- Warm Sweet filled romance

I reread Love Hypothesis and I have to pick that one for warm romance.

🍂Autumn Leaves - A book on your fall TBR
Officially, Direbound and Poison daughter but also my WIP so that I can actually make some progress 🙈😅

🎨Changing colors- Book that I used to like, but my opinion has changed lately - so many because some of the authors have questionable ethics, and I can't read their work when I know about their choices🥲

🫕Sweater Weather - A book I can cuddle up with a warm sweater and a hot chocolate - Heaven Officials Blessing and Percy Jackson series. These are my ultimate cuddle up with books. I just adore them with all my heart.❤️🥹

I am so grateful to @rebecca_bookish for tagging me in this challenge because I need a push to become moderately active here😁
Tagging some more friends as well❤️

THRILLER Stack 📚

But really it’s just books that make up the word ‘Thriller’ because she’s a ✨Romance Only Girlie✨

I was tagged in a Thriller stack but I had to put my own spin on because I do not read thrillers 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve tagged a few of you to do your own Thriller stack, and make it whatever you want 👏🏼👏🏼

🩷Meeting Jessa Hastings🩷

I had such a fabulous time last night with some of my gorgeous besties meeting the absolutely beautiful Jessa Hastings 😍 what an absolute delight of a human! I always pinch myself in these moments and feel so lucky to get to meet so many incredible authors, and to get to do that with so many likeminded ladies who I call friends, makes it even more special 🩷

Thank you so much to @dymockssydney and @thebookishtype_hau for organising a fab event 🙏🏼 so grateful I was one of the lucky ones who snagged a ticket to this sold out event.

It was so lovely to meet some new people too 🥰 always so many laughs when I’m with my girls 🩷

Now I need to hurry up and finish all the books 🙈🤣

Jessa Hastings

What an absolute dream it was to meet the incredible woman behind one of my favourite series - Magnolia Parks. Thankyou for your time last night. For the stories, and the laughs and the sneak peek into her next release 🩸.

I got my annotated copies of Magnolia and Daisy signed as well as my favourite The Conditions of Will. And she even signed my newspaper I brought on the day that has the first chapter of Never 2.

Thankyou to my besties @lizzies.little.library and @aims.readsalot for picking me up and all the laughs. And to @paperback.view for a great catch up after far too long. It was also so lovely seeing the Katie’s @_whatkatiereadnext_ @katie.reads.things and getting to actually say hello and spend some time together. I still can’t believe we where the last ones there 🤣

What a night.

May Book Club. The Secrets of Strangers

What an amazing month it has been, and honestly, one that has been many months in the making.

@jesskitchingwrites was one of the very first authors to come on board during the early planning stages of Bookish Bandits, before we had officially launched, so getting to celebrate the release of The Secrets of Strangers together with an epic book box feature has felt incredibly special.

This month brought so many thoughtful and emotional discussions, wild theories, and so much support for both Jess and this book. Watching everyone connect so deeply with the story has been such a highlight.

Thank you to everyone who ordered a book box, joined the chats, shared reviews and helped celebrate the publication of The Secrets of Strangers with us.

And just like that… that’s a wrap on May!!

Word challenge! Tagged by @readbyshe

🇭🇲 The word I got was 'Fantasy'! First, I thought that I might have an advantage because I could just mix and match German and English books..... but then it felt unfair. Then I was wondering, okay let's see if I manage to get the word with English written books and additionally with German written books - and I DID 🥳.

F - frogsong (By Melissa Manning)
A - Appliance (by J. O. Morgan)
N - Never let me go (by Kazua Ishiguro)
T - The Truth about Ruby Cooper (By Liz Nugent)
A - Ankami (by Debra Dank)
S - Same River, Twice Putin's war on women (by Sofi Oksanen)
Y - Yesteryear (by Caro Claire Burke)

F - Fabula Rasa - (von Vera Kaiser)
A - Ava liebt noch (von Vera Zischke)
N - Nelka (von Svenja Leiber)
T - Treppe aus Papier (von Henrik Szanto)
A - Alles, was du wolltest (von Christina König
S - Spiegelland (von Rebekka Frank)
Y - Yesteryear (von Caro Claire Burke)

🇭🇲 Such luck that Yesteryear kept the same title in the German translation... otherwise I think it would have been close to impossible finding a German book title starting with Y. Do you know one? Which books would you have used for 'Fantasy'?

The new word is 'FLOWERS' 💐

💚 Green But Read Stack 💚

I've been tagged a few times in a green stack, especially this month for St Patrick's Day. So, I thought I would continue my "... But Read" series and feature green. (Scroll back for my blue, red and pink "but read" stacks)

Books featured and a one line review:

🍀 Play With Me: Fun banter and forced proximity... say less!

🍏 Juniper Hill: My favourite book in the Eden series

🌲 The Simple Wild: One of my favourite books for 2023

🐍 Wild Side: Fake marriage and slow burn are such a great combo here

🎄 Christmas in Quincy: Made me want to start the series from the beginning again!

❓️ What's the closest green item to you right now?

Me: a watermelon ready to be cut!

💚 Thanks for the tag in a green stack @amz__reads @tash.r.f.books @perkupandread @paperback.view
