Among the returned / من عوّاده is a collective body of work shaped by Eid — how we remember and remake our relation with it. Bringing together various voices from our community and their selected mediums, it gathers intimate reflections of Eid in Bahrain, along with its wider context. The publication invites viewers to re-view Eid from its snapshot moments to its inherited rituals, and the layered narratives in between, however they may be distinct or shared between us.

This has been months in the making along with @we.are.amana and we are super excited to be sharing this with you!

Art Direction and Curation by: Khurram Salman and Maryam Abdulla @meh.adjacent
Production by Dar Amana with support by @fujifilm.bahrain

Join us for the pop up exhibition opening this Thursday at 7. The exhibition will run till Saturday.

More info on the pre-orders on the zine publication soon.

See you there!

No better way to spend an afternoon than drawing with like-minded creatives. ✏️✨

Our prompt: three descriptions of a mystery object written by someone else. We were given the descriptions and had to interpret them in our own way without knowing the answer. We then had to design a new 'layered' world of that interpretation. (A cross-section view).

It was so much fun! 🤩

We are Re-Launching this exciting workshop "Retrace. Reimagine | Illustration Circle with Hana"

An intimate drawing circle with Hana (@paperboatdoodle ) where we gently stretch our eyes and imagination to notice the world a little differently. We’ll play with simple prompts, quiet observation, and loose lines — turning small details into unexpected illustrations and soft stories.

A light, playful session for anyone who wants to reconnect with drawing, curiosity, and a sense of wonder.

Thursday, May 7th
