Today I finished and framed up my very first commission as a traditional artist! In April my mate @tezamondo reached out to me to create a painting of his hybrid shop front/video game studio @paperhousegames, located on High St in Thornbury, Melbourne. A small piece to mark the three years Paper House have spent in this lovely building, a testament to how far they’ve come since forming as a small team of game developers in university almost 10 years ago.

Thank you to @paperhousegames for giving me the opportunity to capture this memory, for trusting me as I experimented and solidified my process, and for seeing value in my work and in myself as an artist. I couldn’t have asked for a better first client!

And if you’re reading please pop by and give @paperhousegames a visit! They sell wonderful books on game design, board games, video game paraphernalia, high quality Japanese and German stationary, and many other appealing, cleanly designed products from artists both local and abroad.

Hi insta, haven't posted online for ages. Had some free time and thought I'd try my horrid little voice out on a reel.

Thank you @paperhousegames for setting up this game jam! Had a great time!

@crownjd created the game design,
@caracopal baked all the cakes and made the instruction manual,
And I did a bunch of art!

Thanks to everyone who played our game!

I made a mini soundtrack this weekend as part of the @paperhousegames game jam! Inspired by one of my favourite artists @nmeshofficial I've made a plunderphonic sugar-induced dreamscape in theme for the famous Women's Weekly cake book 🍭 link in bio (8 mins)

Hehe! I made my own Wendy, Weather Watcher in the @paperhousegames Wood & Weather character maker!

Wood & Weather is the cutest game that I discovered while doing Melbourne Weather research for the Wendy books and I can't wait for the full game release!

You should really check it out- especially if you're from Melbourne and totally get that our daily weather might as well be at the whim of an unknown being!

🏡 A god-game set in a tiny wooden open-world.

👉 Take control of a flying ethereal hand.

🌦 Change the weather!
