My conversation with Engel Jones on 12-Minute Convos with Jesus Believers is now live.

We went right back to the beginning.

I shared about being seven years old in Trinidad and experiencing the peace of God during a moment of fear, recommitting my life to Christ at 19, and how those experiences eventually connected to the work I’m doing today through Ironclad Men’s Ministry and Raging War.

Sometimes you don’t recognise what God is building while you’re living through it.

Then you look back and realise He was present in every chapter.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works…”
Ephesians 2:10 NKJV

Thank you, Engel, for the invitation and for such an encouraging conversation.

There are seasons when God isn’t simply asking us to become something new.

He is asking us to unbecome.

I recently had the privilege of sitting down with Special Agent Chi @specialagentchi on the Becoming the Proverbs 31 Woman Podcast for an episode called “From Pain to Purpose.”

And this conversation went deep. ❤️

I shared what happened when losing my job caused me to question my identity and my worth—even while other areas of my life looked secure.

That season forced me to begin separating who I was from what I did.

We talked about identity in Christ.
Surrender.
Stillness.
Healing.
Limiting beliefs.
Rediscovering your voice.
And what it really means to become the woman God created you to be.

I told Chi:

“First, I believe we have to unbecome.”

Sometimes that means stripping away every voice that has told you:

You’re not.
You can’t.
You won’t.

And allowing God to renew your mind with what He says about you.

You are loved.
You are chosen.
You are worthy.
You are royal. 👑

Romans 12:2 reminds us:

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” — NKJV

That process of unbecoming and becoming is woven throughout my own journey and eventually helped give birth to As I Fix My Crown.

Thank you, Special Agent Chi, for creating room for such a beautiful and honest conversation. ❤️

Sister Queens, this conversation is personal. 👑

I recently joined Engel Jones on 12-Minute Convos with Jesus Believers and shared a little about a season when everything I thought was next… suddenly wasn’t.

I had built a successful corporate career.

I was traveling the world.

I was getting closer to the C-suite.

Then I lost my job.

And I had to confront a much deeper question:

Who am I when the thing I worked so hard to become is no longer there?

That season became part of my journey toward understanding that my identity could never be rooted in a title, a position or an accomplishment.

My identity had to be rooted in who God says I am.

Engel and I talk about that journey, imposter syndrome, intercessory prayer, obedience, purpose and trusting God when His plan looks very different from yours.

Sister Queen, if you are navigating your own unexpected chapter, I pray something in these 12 minutes reminds you that God is still writing. 💜

🎙️ The episode is available now.

Sometimes the weight a man carries becomes heavier than anyone around him realizes.

After losing a member of our men’s group to suicide, this message is personal.

To every man struggling with depression, hopelessness, suicidal thoughts, grief, financial pressure, family problems, loneliness—or something you haven’t told anyone:

Please don’t give up.

You are valuable.
You are loved.
Your life matters.

No amount of weight you are carrying is worth losing your life.

Psalm 34:18 reminds us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted. Even in your darkest moment, you are not beyond hope.

You don’t have to pretend you’re okay. You don’t have to carry everything alone. Talk to someone. Ask for help. Let somebody into the place that hurts.

Brother, stay.

Even if you can’t see how things will get better yet—stay.

Your story is not over.

It’s taken me a little while to come back and say this.

Not because I wasn’t grateful. Quite the opposite.

After the book launch and production, I needed some time to rest. To sit with it. To replay the moments that moved too quickly while we were living them. To really take in what God allowed us to do—and just how many people He used to help us do it.

And now that I’ve had some time to reflect, there are two words sitting so heavily on my heart:

THANK YOU. ❤️

Thank you to every person who showed up. Every person who served. Every person who prayed. Every person who purchased a book, shared a post, invited somebody, encouraged me, worked behind the scenes, stood beside me, poured into this vision, or simply believed that what God was doing was worth being a part of.

You may never fully know what your yes meant to me.

But God knows.

And my prayer is that He blesses every hand that touched this assignment. May He replenish everything you poured out. May He honor the seeds you sowed. May He open doors for you that no man can shut. And may the same love, generosity and support you extended to me find its way back to you—pressed down, shaken together and running over.

“The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel.” — Ruth 2:12 KJV

From the deepest place in my heart…

Thank you for being part of this. Thank you for being part of us. And thank you for saying yes. 👑❤️

I’m still carrying July 25 with me.

The evening marked the official U.S. launch of Raging War, but what I’ll remember most isn’t a book. It’s the people. The conversations. The prayers. The moments only God could write.

Thank you, @acfi.ministries, for opening your home to us. Thank you, @queenswomensministry, for serving with such love. Thank you, @parablepro, for creating a space where storytelling became ministry.

I’m leaving grateful, humbled, and even more convinced that God is still transforming lives.

There was a moment I had to stop and smile.

Not because my name appeared in the newspaper, but because I remembered the woman who once believed her story would never matter to anyone beyond the people who knew her.

God has a beautiful way of proving us wrong.

The Frederick News-Post featured the launch of NEW, and with it, the beginning of the journey for As I Fix My Crown. To think that a message born from tears, healing, Scripture and quiet conversations with the Lord is now being shared with an entire community… I don’t take that lightly.

If even one woman discovers this book because she read those articles, then every page I wrote was worth it.

Sister Queens, your healing has a voice. Your testimony has an audience God has already prepared.

I travelled from London to Frederick carrying a book, a message and a sincere hope that what we had built would meet people where they were.

Then, before the first scene was performed, the story of NEW began travelling beyond the room.

The @thefnp (Frederick News-Post) featured our scavenger hunt and the immersive production it was leading towards. They also included NEW in their local events coverage. Seeing this work recognised by the local press meant a great deal—not because attention was ever the destination, but because every new reader represented another person being introduced to the story.

I remain grateful to Jen Manswell, Parable Productions, ACFI Ministries, the cast, the crew, the Frederick businesses that participated in the hunt and every person who helped carry this production from an idea into a living encounter.

The stage has gone quiet for now. The message has not.
