Are you registered for the Jewish Futures Arts and Culture Salon 2026? The day will end with a keynote conversation exploring Latin-Jewish arts and storytelling through the lenses of realismo mágico and Joaquín Torres García’s América Invertida, asking what becomes possible when we reorient whose perspectives shape Jewish culture and imagination. Drawing from her work as a sociologist, photographer, and storyteller, @analucia_travels will explore storytelling not simply as documentation, but as a way to reclaim overlooked histories, empower communities to author their own narratives, and imagine new possibilities for Jewish life. Following her presentation, Analucía will be in conversation moderated by @sara.iasha. The Jewish Futures Arts and Culture Salon returns for its fourth year! Join us downtown at the @milesnadaljcc on November 15. A conference for Toronto’s artists and cultural workers exploring the future of Jewish cultural and artistic life. Tickets now available - link in bio.

Thank you @parchmentmag for publishing this poem which scared me to write. (Halfway thru, I tried to "make it nice" which never works. Then finished it or was finished by it.) I'll be reading "Safety Instructions" at the launch on Monday at 7pm @societyclubhouse So many writers i appreciate have work in these pages - @adamsol42 @mrrazovsky @orlyzebak @garybarwin @robbiechesick and others. Please join us on Monday. Everyone is welcome! There will, of course, be food.
