Saw this tip from @parkplaceabode and had to try it out! No jointer needed, just run your boards through your table saw so the blade cuts right in the middle of where they would join. This makes them fit together perfectly for glue up 💫👌🏼

Saw this tip from @parkplaceabode and finally trying it out today ✨ no need for a jointer, I had some longer boards that needed to be glued and this trick makes them fit together perfectly 🌟 10/10 save for later and follow along to see what I’m making!

Cette technique pour teinter le bois je la connais depuis trente ans, j'ai appris cette méthode lors de mon passage chez @les_compagnons. J'utilise l'ammoniac pour faire réagir les tanin du bois et il devient sombre avec les vapeurs, aucun contact direct entre le produit et le bois. Le temps d'exposition determine la teinte souhaitée.
C'est à partager au maximum, si besoins de conseil je répondrai à tout le monde.
➕ Le bois se teinte dans la masse 👍

I learned a new way to make my cabinet base from my friend @parkplaceabode and I absolutely love it. It makes it 90% easier to install the cabinet base.

The SCP, in this case, stands for:

It is a project in which I am using my plethora of skills in a varietal methodology to assist in sound restriction when it's time to record some vocals for my mixtape: "Rise of the Lycans"! It dabbles in utilizing civil engineering, construction, hardware and carpentry, and it is also a work of creativity, imagination, innovation, ingenuity and improvising. To be a man of many talents is simple; it's using your intelligence to have vision!

I put the end result at the start of the video and the rest that follows 4:12 will be the construction.

You can do anything you put your mind to, man. One day, I'll sprout wings like an angel, a dragon or a pegasus and fly with the birds if I want it bad enough!

✨ STAIRCASE WAINSCOTING ✨ What do you think of it? 😍

It took me a couple days and it def wasn’t the easiest project bc MATH and all the angles 📐😅 but I think it makes such an impact! Can’t wait to see this painted!

Also, there was no way around that light switch. 💡 It was at the perfect height where if they were to move it up or down, it would look and feel either too high or too low. So we collectively agreed to butt the skinnier trim right against it. We didn’t want to cut the trim and surround the bottom of the light switch either bc 1. Hella angles 2. It would bring more attention to the switch and honestly make it look weird. The option of trimming a full box around the switch was also a no go as it would make the switch plate look even bigger 🙅🏻‍♀️. Overall I think it looks great and as long as they’re happy with it, so am I!
