My daughter loves parks, so we’re on a mission to visit 50 parks in #SantaClarita this year and share our reviews with you.

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I wish more moms knew they don’t have to do it alone. As a mom of 3, I really wish someone would’ve told me about mom groups the first time around. I didn’t learn about mom groups until I was 8 months pregnant with my third.

As someone that was the first in her friend group to get married and become a mom, it was so hard navigating a season that nobody was in and could relate to. It was mainly just me and my son, since my husband works long hours. I wasn’t able to reply to messages as quickly, talk on the phone, meetup as often, and it slowly became very lonely.

Now as a seasoned mom and knowing what I know now, I hope to spread that message to as many new / soon to be moms that they don’t have to do it alone. @themomwalkco is worldwide and to add on to that, there are ton of local mom groups as well.

If you’re so cal based- send me a DM and I’ll share all the ones I know!

We’re in this together! ❤️.

✨ Happy 3-Month Anniversary to Us! ❤️

Three months ago, we opened the doors to Golden Spoon Skyline Ranch with big dreams, a lot of hard work, and the hope of becoming a place where friends, families, and neighbors could come together over frozen yogurt.

Looking back on these last three months, we’re honestly overwhelmed with gratitude. You have welcomed us into the Skyline Ranch community with open arms and made us feel like part of your family. From our regulars who stop by multiple times a week, to the families creating memories together, to all the smiles, laughs, and conversations we get to share every single day… you’ve made this journey more special than we ever imagined.

And we can’t forget our four-legged visitors! 🐶💕 We love seeing all of our furry friends who stop by for a visit too.

To every single person who has walked through our doors—thank you. Thank you for supporting a local family business, for sharing your kindness, and for making Golden Spoon feel like home.

Here’s to many more months (and years!) of serving the Skyline Ranch neighborhood and continuing to be one of Santa Clarita’s favorite dessert spots. 🍦✨

We’re open every day from 11 AM–9 PM, and we couldn’t be more excited for everything that’s still to come.

From the bottom of our hearts… thank you for making these first three months so unforgettable. ❤️

This might be the closest Santa Clarita gets to living at a resort without someone handing you a room key.

I took a tour through the common areas at Valencia FivePoint, one of the newest master-planned communities in Santa Clarita, located just minutes from Magic Mountain.

We’re talking luxury pools, parks, playgrounds, walking and biking trails, community gardens, outdoor gathering spaces and a beautiful clubhouse. Naturally, I had to personally inspect the poolside lounging, playground equipment and slides. Strictly professional research.

Beyond the amenities, Valencia FivePoint offers a wide variety of new construction homes with flexible floor plans, indoor-outdoor living spaces and modern features designed for today’s lifestyle.

Homebuilders throughout the community include Lennar, KB Home, Toll Brothers, Richmond American Homes, Tri Pointe Homes and more.

You’re also close to College of the Canyons, CalArts, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, Metrolink, shopping, dining and everything else Valencia has to offer.

Could you see yourself living here?

Comment “VALENCIA” and I’ll send you more information about the available homes, builders and current communities.

And before visiting any new construction community, bring me with you on your first visit.

📍 Santa Clarita Park
27285 Seco Canyon Rd, Santa Clarita, CA 91354, United States

I’ve heard other mama’s call this park the ‘Robot Park’ but sadly the robot has been down since 2006 due to new safely regulations. It would’ve been so cool to be able to slide down it!

But Santa Clarita park is beautiful!! Totally recommend. Such a big play structure with sand and grass and also a little house play structure in the middle. Very clean restrooms and the best part is that it’s fully shaded!

SCV sand play parks are a game changer 🛝✨
Two favorites for longer, easier park days with kids.
Save this for your next outing!

Number 1. Todd Longshore Park
Number 2. Santa Clarita Park

💡Parent Tip: take extra sand toys to share. It becomes an instant play date and a great ice breaker for kids to socialize!

Did we miss any sand play parks in SCV?

One thing I love about Santa Clarita is that we still have places that bring families together.

If you’ve been looking for something fun to do with the kids this summer, the Regal Edwards Theater in Canyon Country is running their Summer Movie Express program with movies for just $1.

And honestly, there’s still nothing like seeing a movie on the big screen. The popcorn, the previews, the surround sound... it’s an experience you just can’t get at home.

Plus, every ticket purchased helps support a local business right here in our community.

So if you’re looking to beat the heat, get out of the house, and make some summer memories without spending a fortune, consider stopping by the Canyon Country Regal and catching a movie.

Let’s continue supporting the businesses that make Santa Clarita such a great place to live.
