And just like that, the 2025 F1 season has come to an end. After team-mate clashes, qualifying wobbles, an engine failure in Zandvort and the stress of Max mercilessly stalking him, Lando has finally got over the line. The boys react to the F1 finale and a weepy but deserved World Champion.

october still isn’t over, but if I don’t do my update now I’ll never do it (and I spent lots of time on this) so here’s a teeny recap of what I got up to this month! this month has been ROUGH on many fronts — I bet on myself more than I ever have (I love Vegas for the food. I unfortunately do not know how to play card games and just press the fun buttons on penny slots). Doing that is scary because… 1. I really don’t have anything to lose, I’ve been unemployed for over a year despite my many transferable skills, education, and experience 😪 2. This is real life, I’m connecting with MORE people I respect, admire, and want to learn from. Ngl, having a low follower count, not a real “theme” or brand identity yet, and accepting help from others just because they’re that kind has been a challenge because I don’t feel like I deserve it. 3. TW: MENTAL HEALTH (ADHD, anxiety, depression) being transparent about being neurodivergent is extremely important to me, especially as I’m still navigating the diagnoses day by day and finding what works for me. I spent the month titrating to a new medication and it has not been live laugh love conditions 4. ON A HAPPY NOTE: I got to take one of my besties to the showgirl release party in theaters where we shared wine and sang along and cried together (true girlhood). A few days ago, I woke up with an indescribable gut feeling that I NEEDED to go to steamy lit con, and I’m so so grateful for their team for allowing me to purchase a last minute ticket :’) social anxiety is through the roof but I’m excited to learn, meeting new people, and read!!! TTFN, ta ta for now!

As the roots of @partymodepodcast are in the days when Max won EVERY race, we started to bet on P10 instead. And despite everyone choosing a different driver it’s incredible how often we are wrong. Basically, always. (Although we are awesome at P9 and P11, it seems!). So Charlie thought it was incredible, life-affirming and UNBELIEVABLE that he’d nailed the P10 prediction for two races in succession and was walking on air. Fortunately, it turned out it was unbelievable, as Hadjar was Matt’s pick. But a joyous moment nevertheless. Listen and watch in all the usual places. 💪 #f1 #redbull #racingbulls #partymode #formula1

🎙️🏎️ BEEP BEEP….. we are BACK. Formally known as “EFF WON with DRS” and after a years hiatus we are back as @partymodepodcast. One of my favorite things about this sport is the incredible fans. We are so glad to be back talking all things from racing, all the tech, and all the gossip. Yes most of the gossip ends up being false but it’s still fun to speculate. 2024 RECAP! New Year, New Feed!(for now) I’ve had the exact same feed since 2019 which is crazy so I thought why not change things up for 2025 and use a completely different background! I’m not sure how much I’ll like it but I’m going to give it a trial run for the next few months so enjoy! Anyways here’s a run down of my 2024 recap: [1] books I read in 2024 - for the first time in my life I read 52 books all in one year which is crazy because it’s pretty much the same as reading at least one book each week. This also happens to be my favourite recap spread. [2] Most watched YouTubers - I don’t watch YouTube as much as I did when I was younger but my favourite lifestyle creators were definitely @jennaxhong @nicolelaeno and @avajules_ . For bookish content I loved watching @saracarrolli @tiffanieleighann and @haleypham and then on the rare occasion I watched quite a bit of The Sidemen. [3] 2024 playlist - this was a selection of my most listened to or favourite song from each month this year - I ended up sticking in the photos in the wrong order because I was on a phone call and got distracted halfway through (still love the spread though) [4] Spotify Wrapped - Turned my Spotify wrapped into a journal spread and wrote down my thoughts on it and the stats from it. [5] Book Stats - it’s so cool to see how I rated books throughout the year and how much I was reading each month. Clearly I’m into new release and last year I was way more picky in terms of how I rated books which resulted in a rather low average rating. [6-7] Shows and Movies Watched - Being on a gap year gives you plenty of time to watch movies and last year I watched so many movies when it came to writing them all down I was shocked. I watched way less tv shows but I will say I liked more of the shows I watched compared to the movies. [8] Albums I listened to - In 2024 I made it a habit to listen to new albums and in the end I listened to 14 different albums and discovered lots of new favourite artists. That’s all for today, my last recap spread was supposed to be a recap on the 2024 F1 season but I’m literally so indecisive on what photos to use but once I’ve completed it I’ll share it! 💐

FINALLY tried my first @tedsegersbrew YESTERDAY at the Seth Meyers show! Y’all know I love @daxshepard who is the product genius behind this beer and I love his transparency on his sobriety journey. He’s been an inspiration. His ups and downs. I’m happy to be amongst other sober folks who aren’t afraid to share their experiences ☺️ Whether you’re on a sober journey like myself or not, this is a damn good NA beer… sometimes you just wanna tasty-taste without the wasted waste. 😃 LISTEN, nobody knows a good beer like a recovered alcoholic 😂 (Maybe you don’t find that funny but please know after 8 years of sobriety, I’ve learned to joke about it, accept my past and feel incredibly grateful I made it out on top.) So here’s my review: HEARTY, tasty, if you’re a plain Jane O’douls type, this isn’t your beer. You can easily sip on just one and feel satisfied (but ummm I’m an addict so why would I just have one?! 😂❤️) When I used to drink I loved a Killians and (multiple) shots of Jameson. Also… UMMM HI… look at some of the swag on their site too… adorable little car imagery! I love the branding of this beer. And certainly doesn’t hurt that it has #michigan inspiration behind the branding where Dax is from 🦆🐟🏕️ Need I say more?
