POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I spent the last two days catching up with family and friends, and I enjoyed every second of them. Two of my animated reels are finally being exhibited in person for the first time, and I can't thank @crystalball_thebrand enough for making this a reality. This @philadelphiamarriottdowntown showcase runs through January 2027, and I'm looking forward to exhibiting more of these in the near future.

After the opening reception, I went to @mxl_cafe to see my cousins. My cousin, @salaahscorner, was diagnosed with brain cancer this past summer, and he had just completed his radiation treatment. He's definitely a fighter, and I wish him nothing but love and good health. ❤️

The following night, I caught up with @painting_pretty and checked out her final showcase of 2026. She never ceases to amaze me. The event took place on the 28th floor in Center City, so we had a tremendous view of the skyline. Great atmosphere overall, and I met some new people along the way.

The past years have gone by in a blink, I’m so grateful for all my friends and family who have helped me raise Lola and been there for all of the different beautiful phases of our life together. Keep her in your thoughts and well wishes, blessings and prayers for another ten years. I am so lucky to have her and our rich life. Happy birthday lola lilli baby!!!

This past May, I hosted Spring Cleaning, a fine art pop-up at Love City Brewing featuring 19 local artists. It was my first public event in my hometown after years of producing events in DC, Baltimore, and beyond. My personal and professional worlds collided. I was surrounded by artists I have known for years, people I was just meeting for the first time, neighbors, family, and good friends. I could see in real time how art fosters and expands human relationships.

This year the event was also the launchpad for something I’ve been building quietly for a long time: LOAM, an art consulting practice for visual artists who are ready to invest in their practice. LOAM is for the artist balancing a full-time job. The one returning to their work after time away. The one who feels like they don’t know or understand the art world rulebook. LOAM exists to be part of their ecosystem, so more artists have what they need to bring their work into the world.

Creation is labor, and it takes a village of passionate, generous people to create the conditions for it to thrive. I can be an accountability partner, sounding board, collaborator, and cheerleader for visual artists who need a push.

LOAM is now open and accepting clients. Link in bio to explore the website or subscribe to the newsletter.

Honored to share space with so many gifted artists at the Caribbean Creatives Art Mixer.

Art has a way of speaking across borders, generations, and languages, and this exhibition is full of those conversations. While I wasn’t able to photograph all of the work that moved me, I left inspired by the beauty, creativity, and cultural richness that filled the gallery. If you’re looking for something that stirs the spirit and invites reflection, this exhibition is worth the visit.

On view through the end of July at @urbanartgallery. Come be inspired by the visual language and gifts of the Caribbean.

Here are some photos of the exhibition opening this past weekend! Major thanks to Karl for the space that has been created here for artists to share our he(art) work. 🌱
