@passerby has reminded me how much I love to sit down with people in person — in this case, in their homes — and listen to their stories. @leahisblooming is a warm, ambitious person with whom I did just that. Follow @womenscja to learn more about the campaign to invest in women and their communities, rather than cage them. Step one: closing Rose M. Singer, the women’s facility on Rikers Island. It is people like Leah, who have been doing this work for years/decades, who I look to in this continued chapter of resistance.

I love @theprophetpizza feature in @passerby I’ve been amazed at all the Helpers I hear about 💕 if you don’t know me, then one thing to know is I’m Obsessed with this drink. And I’m almost out of my favorite pen, so it is my purchase worthy item this week.

A fun moment of this year… @clemencepoles of @passerby came into my..apartment…eek…we talked about: the joy of NUXE, actually reading after nine years of working in media, Vostocnhy Bazaar, and a pinch of TJ MAXX…out of everything my favorite part is the sad fridge with no handle that is made JOYFUL with all of the paper and magnet accumulations…on the other side, I save the envelopes from the cards that my mom and now mother in law send! I love their handwriting …
