What a week ✨

An evening at the orchestra, @thecbso Elgar Enigma variations was absolutely stunning - part of their first listen series which I can’t recommend enough. More to come on this.

A busy day filming in JQ followed by an event at @sancarlofumo for @meilivodkauk just a casual catch up with Jason Mamoa, no biggie 😉 thank you to @deliciouspr_ x

Followed by a gorgeous evening seeing all @makersplacejq has to offer! Cinema room and all (brb just putting my flat on the market). The tasting menu from @maneki.ramen & pairing wines from @arch13bar was absolutely phenomenal.

This led to a severe hangover (im blaming you @so.houserich) but luckily I had an event @lushbirminghamspa to drag me out of bed. What a lovely time! The Halloween range especially caught my eye (the little cat bath bomb 🥺) however their spa is the real winner for me, had the best massage of my life here before & im booked back in for the next 😏

The weekend has consisted of a catch up with my bestie @ryangilbody, a desperately needed cut and colour and a major chill out with mr vlogs. Sunday roast to finish the week obvs 🍽️🍷

I got kicked off of a lineup today because of the video I made the last time I was at the venue.

What’s gotten me this far is being honest and authentic in my experience, warts and all. If that means I lose opportunities so be it. Making art is about having your own voice, I’m not going to capitulate on that for anyone.

This is day 271 of a gig a day @passingfancies.bar Birmingham. An absolute gem of a venue! Saving the challenge 😮‍💨

NEGRONI WEEK: We’re celebrating Negroni Week with a shout-out to some of the best places to grab a Negroni in and around Birmingham…

@foxandchancebar do a great white Negroni, and have promised to be slinging out twists on the classic all week long.

@passingfancies.bar include a Peach Iced Tea Negroni on their specials menu.

@24storiesbham have teamed up with @campari to host three creative serves, available throughout September.

@lucky7bhx have got a handful of very special, Izakaya-inspired specials in store.

@couchstirchleyb30 - where best to enjoy one of the classics than at @50cocktailbars No1 bar?

@corkncage’s famous £5 Negronis are going to be even more popular than usual, plus, their sister bar, @thecloakanddagger.b30 have apparently got the Italian classic on hand pull at the pub…

La Bellezza (@bigmamma.uk) serve the classic Negroni, or for something a little different, try their variation featuring thyme-infused Beefeater gin, Campari, Martini Bianco vermouth, and Cynar.

@tropea_harborne serve an excellent Plymouth Navy Gin Negroni.
