I think about the women in my family who built businesses from scratch. Women who moved countries. Women who survived things that could have broken them and still chose to build. I think about the women who mentored me without even knowing they were doing it. The ones who showed me resilience, intuition, grit, softness, and strength in the same breath. And I’ve come to believe something deeply: Being a powerful woman was never meant to be measured only by work, titles, or success. Some of the most world-changing women I know are not CEOs. They are mothers. Teachers. Caretakers. Artists. Community builders. Women holding families together through seasons that no spreadsheet could ever quantify. Our culture often tells women that empowerment must look like productivity. But the truth is… A woman fully connected to her purpose is already powerful. Purpose looks different for each of us. For some women it’s building companies. For others it’s raising the next generation with courage and wisdom. For others it’s creating art, healing people, stewarding land, protecting community. None of these paths are lesser. The world changes because women choose to live lit up from the inside. That’s the kind of leadership I believe in. Not the kind that burns women out trying to prove themselves. The kind that reminds women of who they already are. Women who build things. Women who nurture things. Women who protect things. Women who imagine new futures. My mission has never really been about business. It has always been about seeing more women fully alive. Women who trust their voice. Women who trust their intuition. Women who trust their calling. Because when a woman reconnects with that… Everything around her changes. May we honor every version of womanhood. The builders. The dreamers. The mothers. The leaders. The quiet revolutionaries. Your path is not meant to look like anyone else’s and that’s what we all love about you 🌹

Come with us on a very special day out in London… I planned a complete surprise for the team, starting with brunch at Drunch, a mystery walk through the West End, and then a full-on team adventure at The Crystal Maze, where we solved puzzles, sprinted through the fort, and collected 80K in gold tokens (sadly, not redeemable). Then it was off to Covent Garden for festive drinks, before heading to our all-time favourite dinner spot, Dishoom, where we talked about the journey of OBM Associates and where we’re headed next. We brainstormed so many ideas that were putting in motion this year! We made sure we squeezed the most out of the day, so we booked ourselves into the cabaret at the Kit Kat Club to wrap up in serious style! We celebrated all together with a virtual Christmas quiz when we got back, but she was definitely missed on the London adventure ❤️ This team is everything! Here’s to more magic, more connection, and building @obmassociates together!

SHE DID A TING//: Today my newsletter went out out and I announced that I officially dropped my website under my name. . . If you know me I honestly sat in a space of letting people know. To be honest I was just gonna drop it to little or no fanfare cuz that’s who I be. But ya girl has some pretty amazing friends who reminded me that it’s ok for me to take up space. . . So here it is. So here I am. . . I just wanted to share with you all what I wrote in my newsletter: “Lastly, this season of rebirth and renewal has gifted me the opportunity to show up in this space with a brand new website. I’m happy to introduce you all to my brand spanking new website! For those of you in the know, know that this process has been a labour of love and a lesson in me learning how to show up for myself. . . For years I have centred showing up and doing the work with irise yoga+ wellness and I was definitely in a space of contentment of just staying there. But my work is more than just irise and I needed something more robust and present to showcase me and all of my work. . . Y’all this has been a lesson in celebrating and highlighting all the wins (big and small) along this journey. Which lead me here to this point of standing in the essence of not only the work but my why behind the work and I couldn’t be any prouder. . . I invite you to check out the site and as always thank you all for being a part of this journey with me.” . . So I did a ting and I’m letting you all know. “WHAT COULD A £300 PHOTOSHOOT GET ME?” Lets focus on a Personal Branding shoot, for example. With this you would get a 1hour photoshoot session, including up to 30 best edited digital images, delivered within two weeks of the photoshoot date. BEFORE THE SHOOT - we would have a conversation & brainstorm of what you want to highlight & focus on in your business. WHAT IS THE NARRATIVE YOU WANT TO TELL? From there we will plan LOCATION, PROPS, OUTFIT(S), PEOPLE. You will get 1 location (hire not included), 1-2 outfits to be photographed in, and as many props as you bring we will incorporate them into each shot. THE PHOTOSHOOT - we will have a 5 minute (or so) chat to run through the plan of the shoot to be as productive in that time as possible (while still having fun). The tunes will start playing, the first outfit and location spot is picked out, and we are ready to GO GO. We will mix up the props used, figure out what you could say with each outfit or pose or location or lighting. IT IS ALL ABOUT THE STORY YOU ARE TELLING. YOUR STORY. Think about how each image or setting can be used for your business, to share a part of your story that will help your audience connect with you. I digress…. POST PHOTOSHOOT - within 2 weeks of the photoshoot date your photos will be delivered to you. BE AWARE OF THIS. PLAN AHEAD. If you know you need your photos by the 15th Feb, look back at least 2-3 weeks prior to when you need the photos, and book your photoshoot for then. This allows for editing time, and for you to receive the images and plan out how you are going to use them. Another way I phrase this Package is, “My Social Media Package” as it gives you 30 photos for 30 days. Granted this be the case if you were to post online every single day. However this could be spread out to a photo every other day over 60 days. It is all in how you use them that will show the true benefit of Personal Branding Photos. I give you the resources (featuring you and your brand), and you have to put them to use.
