Thank you so much, @patangindia , for inviting & honur me to the launch event of the first-ever Hinglish-language online Gender Championship Course🙌.

Big ups to the team for bringing together 8 colleges, 4 universities, and 3 NGO partners, and signing 9 MoUs with higher education institutions across Odisha🤍.

Honestly, I'm glad to be a part of this launch event, which aims to promote gender-equal campuses in today's society & a special thanks for the thoughtful handcrafted piece and the plant!

With love ❤️
Swagat Biswal.

on the eve of "world mental health day", the School of Psychology, the University Counselling Centre, and the NGO Patang came together to successfully celebrate the day. Our students performed a street play, organized a placard rally, and held classroom discussions to raise awareness about mental health. Teachers also shared their suggestions to make people more aware of mental well-being. It was a meaningful and engaging celebration.

🌸 Awareness & Orientation Programme on Women’s Safety and Empowerment 🌸
08.09.2026
A meaningful Awareness and Orientation Programme on Women’s Safety and Empowerment was organised by the Internal Committee and Shaktishree Cell, Hirakud College, with a focus on fostering awareness, dignity, safety and gender equality.

We were privileged to have Ms. Amina Begum, Member, PATANG, as the resource person. Her insightful and highly interactive session on gender equality, women’s rights and empowerment engaged the students meaningfully and encouraged them to reflect on the importance of creating an inclusive and respectful society.

As the Presiding Officer/Chairperson of the Internal Committee, it was a fulfilling experience to facilitate this collaborative initiative with the Shaktishree Cell, Hirakud College.

🌿 Together, let us build a safer, more equal and empowered tomorrow.
