🎃🔪 DES MOINES, IT’S TIME TO ENTER ELM STREET! 🔪🎃

What happens when a bunch of local filmmakers get their hands on A Nightmare on Elm Street and decide to remake it their own way? Well… you’re about to find out.

20 different teams were given a scene from the original Nightmare and told to go absolutely nuts. Different styles, different visions, and ultimately a gloriously weird movie stitched together into one big cinematic experiment.

Fun bit of behind the scenes from today's shoot in Amana with the "State Riff of Iowa" team. This upcoming story is on the Iowa independent record label, Bloated Kat Records 100th record release. The story features a song by the Iowa City "sugar metal band" TV Cop, and the unconventional promotional tour to go with it. See it soon on Iowa Life season four!

Of course, Tiny Explosions is participating in the Elm Street Project. While we are the host team, we too will randomly be assigned a scene just like every other team. The main difference being we aren't allowed a scene with Freddy in it and a team can swap scenes with us if they really want too.

We're excited to get weird and we're looking forward to see if anyone can out weird us.

Join the Bootleg Film Collective today and help us remake movies wrong! It's not a competition, it's a collective!

I don’t play music that much on account of my Meniers disease. That being said I do poke me head out occasionally to do fun things. This is a song I wrote that involves all of my favorite things. Fun songs about love and Independence Day. The movie not the holiday.
I am accompanied in this video with some good friends. @jcjensen42 @derekxsharp @here4thezipline Video shot by my bestest but @patbobomb #independenceday #randyquaid #punkrock #meniersdisease

Welcome, Tiny Explosions!

We are absolutely thrilled to host this group of veteran @48hourfilmproject filmmakers as they travel from out of state to join us for the @48hfp_kansascity.

They’ve proudly dubbed themselves "48 junkies," so we know they are ready for the adrenaline and will do their best to blow the competition away come Kickoff! 💥🎥

@kansascity, are you ready to step up and defend our home turf? 😳
