A few snaps from day 1 of ADE at the Gear Test Lab - lots of good conversations, new connections and interaction. Very happy to meet with those who came specifically to see and play on the area.6 and to hear their positive feedback. Onwards to the Technics after party after a quick pizza stop! Thanks to all who dropped in, and hoping to see a few more of you tomorrow!

UNION AUDIO has a a new ambassador!

Welcome to the UA family Mary Gehnyei.

From the very first email, we knew Mary would be a great fit. Not only musically but from our perspective as someone committed to her art, a genuinely kind human, and quite possibly one of the most positive people to be around.

As an artist, Mary can weave a vinyl tale together like few others, with care and dedication - and the analogue mixer she chose to tell these stories with was the elara.6. We're thankful!

The future looks bright (a very yellow looking bright) as we head into ADE next week, where Mary will be busy indeed working with Technics at their event at the Pacific on Wednesday before appearing at the HÖR pop-up at 5pm. Then the Technics Club Rush Hour Store takeover on Thursday, before dashing off to Paris.

Welcome Mary, let's make some more memories to add to the fun we've already shared this year ❤️

Join the Union Audio crew at the ADE Gear Test Lab next week in Amsterdam. We have the area.6 performance mixer in both eurorack and desktop set-ups, 5 listening stations providing a range of UA mixers in both vinyl and digital format, and a DJ booth with live sound to test out equipment in a real world setting. We'll be on hand to field your questions and chat analogue mixer design, and Dave Mech will be hosting a workshop on Thursday at 13:15 to run through the area.6 and it's huge capabilities as a playable instrument in your studio/modular set-up.

Not only that, but we're playing a supporting role with Technics at their event at the Pacific on Wednesday, the Technics Club takeover at Rush Hour Records, and providing a Limited 55 Edition mixer to Dantes HiFi+ at their takeover of the W Hotel all weekend.

We look forward to seeing you next week!

Live techno artist, educator, tech geek and all-round good guy Dave Mech will be delivering a workshop at the Gear Test Lab on Thursday 22nd to showcase the new area.6 performance mixer. No one knows the intricacies of this feature packed and powerful analogue mixer better than Dave, having had a helping hand in its design. The workshop will take you through how to integrate the area.6 into your modular/desktop set-up and explore its use in not just controlling your mix but shaping your soundscape in unique and playable ways, revealing why it deserves recognition as a true 'performance mixer'. We hope to see you there!

And here it is - the new Union Audio four.valve Limited 55 Edition.

A hybrid design of two of our best loved mixers, combining the traditional UA analogue architecture from the four.valve and the modern aesthetic from the elara range, along with the damped faders and wooden side trims from the signature series. Only 550 units will be produced and all sold via our network of retailers across the globe.

Conceived as a tribute to the legacy of the Technics SL range, the aluminium bezels are gold anodised to match the limited edition turntables along with custom artwork.

A specially designed custom op-amp from the legend that is Andy Rigby-Jones completes the build, ensuring that this mixers sonic character match its individual looks.

The Union Audio four.valve Limited 55 Edition will be unveiled on 21st - 23rd October during ADE - come and visit us at the Gear Test Lab, Het Ketelhuis, Westerpark to play this mixer on our live DJ booth and get to know the UA team.

It worked!
