[ELEVATE GAMES 2026]

What started as a simple conversation with @dyllonthiele and a small idea within the @elevate.athleticahq Community quickly grew into something much bigger. Yesterday, that idea became a reality.

The Elevate Games was born.

Seeing months of planning, preparation, and hard work come together was something truly special. But events like this don’t happen because of one person - they happen because of a community.

A massive thank you to every athlete, supporter, spectator, and member of the Elevate Family who showed up, brought the energy, and helped create such an incredible atmosphere. The encouragement, smiles, cheers, and support throughout the day are what made this event so memorable.

A special shout-out to @eva.athletic for partnering with us and helping sponsor the event, @djvic_bne for bringing the energy and keeping the vibes high all day, and our amazing volunteers, @patricesimpson and @_rubycroft_ , for stepping up as Head Judges and ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

And especially to @emma_____ok, my partner in this biz, played a huge part in making the Elevate Games what it was. Thank you for all the hard work behind the scenes and for helping bring this vision to life. 🫶🏽

To every athlete who stepped onto the competition floor… you should be incredibly proud. Witnessing so many PBs, mind-blowing lifts, unforgettable moments, and watching athletes push beyond their comfort zones was inspiring. Seeing people back themselves, showcase the hard work they’ve put into their training, and simply enjoy the experience is exactly what this event was all about.

Whether you stood on the podium or not, you represented everything Elevate stands for: Purpose, Community, Support, Growth, and having a crack.

Thank you to everyone who believed in the vision, poured their time, energy, and love into this event, and helped bring it to life.

This was more than just a competition.

It was a celebration of our community.

The first Elevate Games is officially in the books… and we’re only just getting started.

See you at the next one. 🫶🏽🔥

Every year we walk into the CPR refresher thinking:

“Mate, I’ve got this. Push on chest. Blow air. Don’t panic.”

Then 14 minutes later we’re sweating over a plastic dummy while our trainer calmly says:
“Remember… the Bee Gees rhythm.”

Now there’s 7 grown adults aggressively compressing torsos to Stayin’ Alive while trying not to lock eyes with each other.

CrossFit has taught us many things…
But apparently yearly CPR refreshers remind us:

1. Nobody remembers the ratio.
2. Everyone forgets how exhausting CPR actually is.
3. The dummy somehow always looks disappointed in you.

Still though… genuinely important skills to have.
Even if it does feel like the weirdest group workout of the year.
