Team Love ready for Patrick Mc Dowell SS27 I met Patrick in Paris last year after hearing accolades from multiple reliable sources. He was at a showroom blocks from my hotel (fate!). From that meeting this glorious suit was born, in my favorite color and adorned with thimble’s inspired by Patrick’s grandmother. Someone was a huge hit with street photographers and illustrators. Across the aisle besties. This ICON flew to London for a 36 hour stay to fulfill my dream of attending this show together. Me stanning Noor from afar. I can be very creepy. Patrick brought me together with the sister I didn’t know I had. Not me thinking I was the inspo for the opening pieces. 💚 Oh hi. (Told you I am creepy)

LFW S/S 2027 Round-Up. Mowalola: Marking ten years of her label, Mowalola returned with high gloss tailoring, foiled denim, sheer bumsters and glittering gowns, allowing the clothes to take centre stage. Natasha Zinko: Pay Per View explores surveillance and the monetisation of attention, translating Michel Foucault’s panopticon into theatrical casting, fetishwear, sculptural corsetry and provocative money motifs. Patrick McDowell: Inspired by Wong Kar-wai’s In the Mood for Love, Love combined striped silk, hand painted roses and embroidered Pandora charms, concluding with an ethereal wedding dress. Paolo Carzana: Ritualistic silhouettes, natural dyes and headpieces by Nazir Mazhar explored strength, fragility and spirituality, with the church’s history and environmental concerns informing the collection. Talia Byre: Bridal research informed precise ivory tailoring, sculpted jackets and reworked apron dresses, balanced by colourful knitwear and contemporary separates. John Richmond: Pop Heaven revisited rock and New Romantic codes through laser cut leather, metallic satin, lace and voluminous prom dresses, celebrating the designer’s enduring connection to music. Pauline Dujancourt: Inspired by The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant, the designer explored emotional textiles through intricate knitwear and handmade embellishments, including a finale look featuring 700 individually woven flowers. Ahluwalia: Priya Ahluwalia drew on FESTAC ’77 and Black Panther imagery, translating cultural memory and political resistance into abstract prints, layered tailoring and occasionwear.
