Had a tremendous day yesterday with the PSYCH Big Band and closed the set with one of my favorite @chicagotheband tunes. “Beginnings” by Robert Lamm. I recorded it on my first record and it’s available on all the platforms. Spotify, etc. Big thanks to @bivonagary, Michael Parlett @talentedproductions @richie_rosenberg, the incredible band and crew for the great hang.

Opened my good friend @thestevenmichaelshow ‘s brilliant ELVIS tribute show this weekend at @campus_jax with @marc_cohn ‘s classic tune, Walking in Memphis. It was a thrill. This tune always meant a lot to me. It accompanied me on my journey across the country in the early 90’s and inspired me to stop in Memphis and find a piano to play. Big thanks to Steven for the invite and the incredible band @chrisbarronmusic @grantjordanmusic Shane Jordan and Kristian for the tremendous groove.

Big thanks to @laurenacooler for the 📸

We had an amazing night @vibratogrilljazz on Tuesday night. A lovely audience. And the @paulmcdonaldbigband was burnin’ it up. @leannaishere was fantastic. What a blast to share the stage with her. Big thanks @vibratogrilljazz @edenalpert @hussain_jiffry for having us back. Here a clip of the Chicago classic, “Does Anybody Really Know What Time it Is”. One of my favorite tunes of all time.
Thanks @ohyouwantgoodjaz for the clip📸😎

It’s not everyday that you look out and see @therealdionnew Dionne Warwick smiling at you from the audience. It was a magical night @jexaward @maxwelldemille Cicada Club on Sunday night. What a rush to swing with the incredible @kevinvdedrums VDE Big Band and to share the bill with some of my favorite singers and musicians @sidneyjacobsart @mondavid5 @sonjikimmons @hakunatawanda @billcunliffejr @billajonesactor @kerikelsey1 and the legendary 5 time Grammy award winner, the sublime @diannereeves who dazzled the audience. 6 time grammy award winner/legend, Dionne Warwick, was the guest of honor and received the humanitarian award. So many friends all in one room. Scholarships were awarded to young artists and funds were raised for jazz outreach. A night to remember!
