part 3 of how me made our album AALLIIAASS: we kept it raw & simple! two samplers (SP1200 & MPC2000XL) going through a classic mackie 16-channels mixer. the only additional effects we used live were the @benidub.audio filtro on one channel of the SP and the @bugbrand_bristol PTdelay on the aux send.  we recorded all tracks live in stereo, mostly two 7-9 minutes jams and then did some simple editing.  after that the mixes went straight to mastering at @mikegrinser / @manmademastering . - that it's, that's the record -
out now everywhere!

Live-Musik trifft auf DJ-Kultur – und diesmal wird’s ziemlich vielseitig. 🪩

Bei den Jazzit:Club:Nights treffen am 27. November drei ganz unterschiedliche Zugänge zu Pop, Techno und Dancefloor aufeinander.

arthur the gang starten mit verspielt-melancholischem Alternative Pop zwischen schimmernden Synths, tanzbaren Grooves, 90s-Gitarrensoli und Falsetto-Vocals. Danach gehen Pulsinger & IRL live ans Werk: Patrick Pulsinger und Sam Irl bauen ihren rohen, samplebasierten Techno direkt aus SP-1200, MPC2000XL und 16-Spur-Mixer.
Später übernimmt Ruby Savage und führt die Nacht weiter zwischen Soul, Jazz, Disco, Dub und Dance Music – mit viel Gefühl für Flow, Energie und überraschende Übergänge.

Den Abend eröffnet arthur the gang mit verspielt-melancholischem Alternative Pop. Auf der Debüt-EP busy feeling everything at once verarbeitet das Wiener Projekt mit Salzburger Wurzeln die Reizüberflutung des eigenen Innenlebens – zwischen kurzen Romanzen, Dopamin-Kicks und dem Wunsch nach emotionaler Distanz. Schillernde Synths, tanzbare Grooves, 90s-Gitarrensoli und Falsetto-Vocals verbinden sich zu einem eigenwilligen, modernen Sound

Danach übernehmen Pulsinger & Irl. Der österreichische Techno-Pionier Patrick Pulsinger und der bayerische Produzent und Sound Engineer Sam Irl arbeiten mit zwei Samplern – SP-1200 und MPC2000XL – und einem 16-Spur-Mixer. Ihr aktuelles Album AALLIIAASS und das dazugehörige Live-Set konzentrieren sich auf einen rohen, reduzierten und samplebasierten Techno-Sound, der aus den Maschinen selbst heraus entwickelt wird.

Ruby Savage

Für den Übergang in die Nacht sorgt Ruby Savage. Die aus Amsterdam stammende und in London lebende DJ und Radiomoderatorin bewegt sich seit vielen Jahren zwischen Soul, Jazz, Disco, Dub und Dance Music. Nach Stationen bei Honest Jon’s, Brownswood Recordings und Worldwide FM ist sie heute regelmäßig in Clubs und auf Festivals weltweit zu hören und regelmäßiger Radio-Host bei NTS.

Wir laden euch herzlich zum Küchenschiff XXL ein!
Die Gemeinschaftsküche, welche im Sommer als Semester-Projekt startete, bringt wöchentlich die Nachbarschaft von Margareten um den Matzleinsdorfer Platz zusammen. Nun veranstalten wir mit noch mehr helfenden Händen der Caritas (@cartiaswirhelfen), Popchop (@popchop.magazine) und der Unterstützung der Köchinnen Lisa Machian (@cachewien), Rebecca Spanos (@rebecca.spanos) und Nargi (@iamnargi) den folgenden Zweiteiler:
Gemeinsames Kochen und Speisen! Während das Kochen bereits ausgebucht ist, laden wir euch alle herzlich zum gemeinsamen Speisen ein!

Von 19:30 wird mit einer musikalischen Einführung durch Patrick Pulsinger (@patrickpulsinger), die Küche in eine Speisehalle verwandelt.
Speisen werden ab 20 Uhr als Teller zum Teilen angeboten. Bringt Freund:innen mit und ladet eure Nachbar:innen ein!
Wir freuen uns auf euch und einen gemeinschaftlichen Abend!

Speisen und Getränke werden mit Spendenempfehlung angeboten. Alle Spenden kommen dem Verein 'Küchenschiff – eine solidarische Nachbarschaftsküche' (@kuechen_schiff) zugute.

We invite you to Küchenschiff XXL!
The kitchen started last summer as a social design semester project, bringing together the neighbourhood of Margareten around Matzleinsdorfer Platz. With even more helping hands of Caritas and Popchop and the support of chefs Lisa Machian, Rebecca Spanos and Nargi, this evening will present itself in two parts:
Cooking and eating together! While the cooking part is already fully booked, we warmly invite you to join the dinner!

Starting from 19:30 and with an intervention of music by Patrick Pulsinger, the kitchen space will morph into a dining hall.
Food will be served from 20:00 as shared plates. Bring your friends and invite your neighbours!
We are looking forward to a joyful dinner together!

Food and drinks will be offered with a recommended donation that will pay towards the project!

Die Vorbereitungen für das erste Küchenschiff-Kochen im Großformat sind im vollen Gange. Für das gemeinsame Kochen haben sich bereits viele Köch:innen angemeldet – Falls du dennoch Lust hast, bei der Vorbereitung und dem Festessen mitzuhelfen, melde dich sehr gerne per dm oder unter kuechenschiff@protonmail.com.

Das Festessen wird musikalisch von Patrick Pulsinger eingeleitet. Kommt mit Freund:innen, bringt Hunger und Durst und freut euch auf vielfältige Speisen und einen festlich-herbstlichen Abend!

thanks so much to the lovely @nd_baumecker for inviting us back to the panorama bar / berghain for our 4th live-show there!
it was an honour and a pleasure for us to play the release-show of our 2nd album there after our debut ten years ago!
this time we "re-opened" the panorama bar at 7:30pm, as the garden floor was open before with @bradley_zero holding it down there in sunny weather with a fabulous set getting the whole place moving in such a deep, bubbly and playful way. big up!
we started our live-set on an empty floor but the dancers rushed in as soon as the doors opened and it was filled up just minutes later.
thank you to this attentive, respectful and energetic crowd, the vibes were fantastic and we really felt at ease playing! after us @fabio_monesi took over in fine style!
also a very big thanks to the wonderful and super-friendly crew: sound technicians, lighting, artist care, bar and driver!
